Slowlycatchymonkey Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 That’s a corking scar! Glad she’s home Quote
Slowlycatchymonkey Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 If the collars really bothering her then there are much nicer soft ones available. Google ‘soft cone for dogs’ there’s quite a few choices. Quote

The top and bottom of the wound are fine!stitches out healing well, the middle on the inside of what would be her elbownot so good! no infection, all nice and pink, just not knitting together very well, back to the vets tomorrow.caravan break cancelled Quote
Slowlycatchymonkey Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Sorry your breaks off. The elbow part you’re describing is always a tricky bit to heal, takes longer because its so mobile and generally bony. Bit like when you scrape a knuckle or knee, takes a lot longer to heal than anywhere else because it’s always being moved. Quote
Slowlycatchymonkey Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 rennie How’s the old girl doing? Quote

onesea Posted January 31, 2019 Author Posted January 31, 2019 My misses and I are looking for a fairly young dog (not bitch) up to 15-20kg water friendly we sail, not to shedding as we misses has mild allergy. Love him to bits but our "little puppy" is now 35 kg and has cost my biking time, he wont fit in tank bag or top box.... He would need a sidecar or trailer (not got there yet)!He is now costing me my car...He's doing well the dog classes and others frequently refer to him as a horse, he takes great please in untraining other dogs to play, his recall is somewhat optional he is over friendly with EVERYONE and any animal he is big boundy and gentle. Training still in progress... We won't mention his ability to destroy any dog chew, dog toy, toilet roll, shoe, door mat dog bed in the shortest time.. He is now 12 months old and doing well.He can be good.. Then he might here Pork Scratching, the bar staff must stop serving him Quote

Great pictures. God dog toys.....our 8 month old cocker spaniel destroyed a Kong Extreme toy in 10 seconds about a month ago!! We have to be careful with toys, but an antler is surviving so far!!! He's also got a thing for socks and shoes!!I've lost bike time too but he's just about worth it. Quote
Slowlycatchymonkey Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 onesea I’d be curious enough to get a dna test done. You could be onto a fortune when it comes back half dog half horse Quote
onesea Posted October 26, 2020 Author Posted October 26, 2020 Thought I should add an update to this.... Having jumped through the hurdles to get him. We have had Ben over 2 years the one repeated comment that people who meet him said was "hes lovely but he needs a buddy"...So Ben met Molly... Molly could be cast as lock down reject, she's 14 months old and spent 10 months at her previous forever home. We took her on after 3 weeks in foster...Glad to announce after 48 hours they get on like house on fire, (which is something they have not achieved yet). Although Misses recons the patio window will be put through before long... Quote

The patterdale decided to show how much he missed me by jumping on my lap when he came in from a walk having writhed in fox shit. We both got a shower although I didn't make as much noise about it as he did. Quote
Slowlycatchymonkey Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 Mawsley I had to do a double take at your spaniel. Looks very similar to my old boy. They’re always so pleased with themselves when they find their favourite perfume Quote
