She's home but she's in a bit of a state and feeling very sorry for herself!

still on lots of painkillers.

I hope she's feeling better soon.

She hates the collar!

A little update? Hows she doing?

Not too bad at all, still on antibiotics, still got the collar on,

we're having to keep the scar very clean.

But she's doing ok! Vets again on Tuesday I think :thumb:

Good stuff. Look forward to hearing when the collars off and the stitches are out.

Not so good today! The top and bottom of the wound are fine!

stitches out healing well, the middle on the inside of what would be her elbow

not so good! no infection, all nice and pink, just not knitting together very well,

back to the vets tomorrow.

caravan break cancelled :(

Sorry your breaks off. The elbow part you’re describing is always a tricky bit to heal, takes longer because its so mobile and generally bony. Bit like when you scrape a knuckle or knee, takes a lot longer to heal than anywhere else because it’s always being moved.

My misses and I are looking for a fairly young dog (not bitch) up to 15-20kg water friendly we sail, not to shedding as we misses has mild allergy.

Love him to bits but our "little puppy" is now 35 kg and has cost my biking time, he wont fit in tank bag or top box.... He would need a sidecar or trailer (not got there yet)!

He is now costing me my car...

He's doing well the dog classes and others frequently refer to him as a horse, he takes great please in untraining other dogs to play, his recall is somewhat optional he is over friendly with EVERYONE and any animal he is big boundy and gentle. Training still in progress...

We won't mention his ability to destroy any dog chew, dog toy, toilet roll, shoe, door mat dog bed in the shortest time.. He is now 12 months old and doing well.

Great pictures. God dog toys.....our 8 month old cocker spaniel destroyed a Kong Extreme toy in 10 seconds about a month ago!! We have to be careful with toys, but an antler is surviving so far!!! He's also got a thing for socks and shoes!!

I've lost bike time too but he's just about worth it.

Thought I should add an update to this.... Having jumped through the hurdles to get him.

We have had Ben over 2 years the one repeated comment that people who meet him said was "hes lovely but he needs a buddy"...

So Ben met Molly...

Molly could be cast as lock down reject, she's 14 months old and spent 10 months at her previous forever home.

We took her on after 3 weeks in foster...

Glad to announce after 48 hours they get on like house on fire, (which is something they have not achieved yet).

Although Misses recons the patio window will be put through before long...

It's so much better when they can stay clean.

God that stuff makes them stink. The patterdale decided to show how much he missed me by jumping on my lap when he came in from a walk having writhed in fox shit. We both got a shower although I didn't make as much noise about it as he did.
