Unfortunately all this lively discussion has veered somewhat away from my original purpose of getting a cheap knacker to do up over the winter . I should have never have sold that Aprilia.

How about a dt250 frame with an air cooled beetle lump from a Baja in the back with not one but two hidden engine kill switches and maybe some led lights

just looked on fleabay and seen a cg not that far from me it hasn't been running for ten years with lots of rust in places and a non runner (it would be) its up for £300 at the moment and its a blue 93 model

There is some one called Summerbud on fleabay based near Stratford that advertises a lot of 70 & 80 jap imports.
