I finally have a mate who has bought a property on the island and I am up for helping him with the work to be done in return for free accomodation and this happens !

if you have paid in full for your ferry and your hotel they will honour it for next years event thats what they did the year foot and mouth happened

only thing we have paid in full is flights, and just £50 deposit on accommodation , see what happens
