Think it'll be same one, called being Evel. It was revealed he threatened George Hamilton with a gun and at one point kidnapped his own wife

Cheated on her multiple times, beat his best friend with a baseball bat and was just an all around knob when he became famous.

Still a good watch

I remember reading about his jump at Snake River, where he basically strapped himself to a rocket!! The guy certainly had a full set of brass balls.....

I remember that because I was there !

Lots of waiting all day and then the let down of the crash at the end.

Most vivid memory of the day was a group of circus performers including a guy who did a shallow dive into what to me looked like a paddling pool from a platform that looked about 12 to 15 ft high, I thought he was bonkers then and I still do.

Knieval was a disappointment if I am honest and wound the crowd up with quite a few approach and stop runs but I suppose that's just playing your crowd.

I remember watching that on telly.

He had the best selling toy for a few years. Till he got into trouble, and they didn't want to be associated with him any more. Lost millions.

yea he never came across as being that friendly of a person perhaps all that money went to his head :|

I've heard of him but never seen any of his stunts, no idea why that is as I love watching stunts.

I haven't heard anything about his background life outside stunts though.

Apparently when he got older he changed his ways a little and tried to make amends but he had pissed off his friends and family so much back in the day that they didn't want to know

For some reason I think Richard Hammond did a bit of filming with him shortly before he died.

From what I recall I think Hammond said something like never meet your heros as even that late on he was erratic and just not "right".

Cheers
