What is this Thanksgiving of which you speak?

Good afternoon

Been a busy couple of weeks, I've worked to 11pm a few times, with 7am starts. I'm still out of the gym due to a recent op, which is hammering me a bit as it's as much a mental health thing as a physical health thing.

Had a tiff with the estate agent of the people we are buying from the other day. My experience has been very mixed with estate agents, and I got an e-mail that was heavily worded to suggest either me or my solicitor is causing this process to go slowly. I replied with evidence to show we'd taken immediate action on everything required of us, so was confused by their e-mail, and tried to end on a positive by stating we're on track for a mid-January completion, that they conveyed was desired by the sellers. Got a right snotty reply from a separate agent saying I was in no position to discuss a completion date as our enquiries weren't complete.

My reply ended on the line "I made no mention of a date. Only that at present course I feel confident a mid-January date was achievable. If I have no right to talk about this, may I suggest you have better communication on your end and not send me anything in regards to it, which could provoke a reply."

Didn't get a response. Figures...

It is when some leader or other of a large but mentally challenged country says 'pardon' to a turkey (I think).

Firstly, it's good to hear Sue is up and about, secondly, have a great, and cidertastic afternoon.

Phew....I rely on my computer for work. I've been thinking it was time to replace it but the laptop I had my eye on was too expensive.

Then it dropped by £250 as BF approached so I went for it. Even so it was a bit of a tough decision splashing out on a second computer.

Last night my old one froze, then just died. Completely dead, it won't boot or enter the BIOS. No response to any inputs.

A bit of a lucky escape.
