Had a loaner BMW R12T the other day, and it confirmed my ever lasting suspicion that I wouldn’t like a boxer engine.

yes it’s nice when you’re going slow, but idk I missed my inline 4 constantly.. and when I got it back I really appreciated it even more.

what ruined it more for me with this bike - no fuel gauge or rev counter either but I guess that’s “retro”, it does look quite nice though.

I still miss my boxer. I think I need to test ride one every now and again to remind me why I don't want another. It's a risky move though. What if I do want another?? 🤔

But you actually do want one 😂

There are so many to choose from, one for any budget too.

I’ve ridden one, and most likely that’ll be the last one I’ll ride unless forced 🫡

I miss a triple (if I could afford and my stubborn mental attitude could push to it again ) or an para twin if my medical problems would allow over an inline 4.

Good evening,

Just finished work. Got a presentation to the NHS and carbon exchange fund tomorrow, then off to the Mercedes F1 headquarters later in the week, so it's not all bad even if it is all work.

Looking forward to Christmas, as it comes with a few days off. Been on 60 hour weeks for the last couple of months.

Morning.

That’s it, it isn’t ‘good’.

I subscribe to an email from a news group, one of many. Woke up and almost dropped my coffee as I read about a person my age. He was described as, and I quote, “elderly”. HE’S NOT ELDERLY, HE’S THE SAME AGE AS ME, YOU TOSSERS. I unsubscribed in a fit of pique.

I plan on spending the day doing youthful things such as forgetting my punctuation chatting shit and death by masturbation
