@peepae did you go through the forums link to sportsbikeshop.co.uk? I've got to order some things from them, do you click on the homepage forum link for sportsbikeshop.co.uk, log in to your account and order? If the forum can get something from this, I want to do it right, thanks

I click on the link through the forum, but always pay with apple pay so don't login on the site

Hmm, I did this yesterday. I clicked on the forum link, but unsure if it worked.

If not, I can advise the purchase order... Though the boots I just bought are likely going to be too big due to conflicting information on whether they run large or small online. And the size that in theory would fit me exactly aren't in stock until the end of the year apparently, so might need to wait to see if it goes through first.

Good morning!

At least it passed, and it's there for when you're ready.

Being a biker is a state of mind, whether you ride or not, it's in the blood.

I’m PXing my bike on Saturday (potentially next week) and the value of the trade-in is at 3250.

looking at the BMW invoice I got for the bike, it has reduced the original price from 6500 to 6000. Now the dilemma:

I got a buyer who wants to pay more than the 3250 and enough for me to take a 3 hour train ride instead of riding my bike there. Do we think they’ll be happy if I tell them I have cash instead or are they expecting to easily turn a profit and as such will increase the bike price back to original? (6000 > 6500)

I too have back and hip issues - I did some research and then swapped out the seat for a 'hammock' seat fitted with a rider backrest.

Still hurts a bit to get on, but after a few mins riding, all settles down and is almost pain free.

Have you considered a Trike?

like a boss dog GIF

I'm itching just looking at that gif

Had 4 dogs all line up for cuddles at a BBQ I was at last Saturday. I took 2 anti-histamines in preparation for it, but then I forgot to put all items of clothing in the wash and I've got hives spreading up my arms from where I touched the jeans I had on. Would love to have a dog, but not sure I'd put it on a bike

All good, paid the trade-in value in bank transfer just now :)

Waiting for it to be ready!!!! Swinton insurance ready to screw me over for an extra 250 GBP for the year also but that's still better than switching insurers :D

Good afternoon.

New boots on the bike this morning in readiness for our pottering around some lumpy bits of Europe. These to replace tyres that probably had 1,000 / 2,000 miles (rear/front respectively) left on them. Our tour will be around 3,000 miles. I needed to get out on the bike more to avoid  wasted rubber.

Michelin Pilot Road 6 Trails in case you’re wondering. =£lots. Ouch.

Yep same deal of like dogs but make me too poorly for days on end afterwards no matter how many antihistamine and alcohol consumed, all the while that beast is the lesser of other potential evils….

good tyres are never awaste, vastly over kill or in this case priced is a different matter. Happy touring.

Not sure about this! I've just ordered some Pirelli Rosso IVs. Got a feeling I will be regretting it when they've worn through after 4000 miles. But I'll try them once and if they're no good I'll go back to the Angel GT IIs. Or give something like the Metzeler s22s a go.
