The eldest grandson wouldn't forgive me as he knows he is going to inherit it .

The one that was trying to sell to me not my misses, she wanted a comfy bike as pillion. They were hell bent on selling features to me.

Yeah that's where I've been lucky i guess. Both me and the OH ride but I usually take more interest in the spec as bikes are more my thing, he still prefers cars. So it's usually me asking the questions. I only bring him along if I think I might miss a deal as he has no shame about haggling to the point of insulting the seller haha.

"I could never keep the front end down when I owned one of those". "I was always on the back wheel that's why I got rid and bought this".

yeah right!!!!

Southport Carousel

Yeah my old mt10 was a wheelie machine but I only ever pulled a few floaters really, no 'dank nooners'. People in the car park would say 'don't you have a hard time keeping the front end down?' No mate, not really.

At a tmbf rally, at the Lower Lode, @Joeman turned up on his nearly new BMWs1000r,

when they where new(ish).

He had a camera fitted which he forgot to turn off.

It caught the audio of 2 locals talking about his bike.

It was hilarious!

Taxi driver in Cardiff a few years back said his mates Suzuki Hayabusa was over 300bhp and it would do over 250mph. I asked if it was a drag bike or heavily modified and he said no its stock, factory let this one out a little hot (*wink wink*), he rides it all the time, fast as **** he is, no one can touch him round here.

Now I know there are some heavily modified Hayabusas out there with bonkers BHP and top speeds but a stocker out the factory...  Generally when someone uses the term fast as **** I always take it with a pinch of salt as I've seen these "fast guys" get dusted by someone handy on an R3 in the corners.
