Pie man Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 From what I've read, there are 30 Chinese motorbike brands in the UK. Unsure if any are a green lane machine, maybe the Sinnis range. I've no idea when it comes down to build quality or reliability. A couple on the auction sites at 2k. Quote
fastbob Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 (edited) Here you go . Bags of power in that trusty ER5 engine . Edited November 1, 2021 by fastbob 1 Quote
bonio Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 (edited) You'd have been fine a couple of years ago, but the 2nd hand market has gone a bit crazy. Can't honestly recommend a chinese bike; I had a chinese scoot once and it was built out bits of plastic held together with cheese. Lasted 18 months. Don't know what to suggest for you. manxie49 Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 Something else to consider with a trail bike, if it's just a winter hack you're looking for, consider the tyres. Most trail bikes have off road oriented tyres, great on the Green lanes but absolutely pants on wet tarmac! I have an off roader and I love green laning it, but I have had a few hairy moments on wet roads. 2 Quote
