Can't bring myself to post.a picture of it, it's bloody hideous.

Where they pissed when they signed it off, did the designers 4 yo get hold of a crayon and doodle all over the original design?

This? Yeah not great. Wouldn't say it was horrible but it's not right either.

It's dismal. The old XSR was beautiful. But this is so Frankenstein I reckon I can see the stitches.

It's a sign of getting old guys. I think most modern motorcycles are pug ugly. Given that most bikers are older it makes you wonder who is buying them.

In particular I really dislike the modern tendency for exhausts to look like a bit of air-conditioning trunking stolen from the back of Matalans.

I personally wonder what Yamaha were thinking.

They've used Sarron's old bike in the advertising video.

If it had been a race rep, fine!

But it's a retro ujm, so unlikely to live on the track or have the need to squeeze every hp onto the tarmac.

If Yamaha are confused as to what it is, what are the punters going to think!

Wouldn't mind a 6 way gyro on my XSR though!

To be fair, I've always thought that the XSR was ugly. A random collection of parts thrown together without a single flowing line through the whole plot.

The 2022 is just another variation on the ugly theme.

At the end of the day, you buy a bike for its looks.

I know this Yamaha will be an excellent bike, but god in heaven it’s terrible!

Even when they don’t sell any and offer them at £1500 discount, I wouldn’t buy one, never!
