Well final race on Sunday, max on soft hammy on medium's, should be good race.

Sky f1 twats, I avoided all news so I could watch highlights, sky started it off by reeling off all the positions absolute bunch of fuckwits.

Be interesting to see what Verstappen does when Hamilton tries a passing move on him assuming he can of course.

Think unless max has bad start hammy will burn fuel and bide time till max's tyres start to go.

I'm just hoping it's a clean race. Verstappen has demonstrated a lack of respect for other drivers for most of his career so far. Not helped by Horner's attitude that he can do no wrong.

That's probably true. One of my ex- riding mates used to have 6 paracetamol and 2 cans of Red Bull for breakfast every day. He turned from a nice guy into a total prat.

Hamilton was robbed by a complete cocked up race. Verstappen is no champion. He's a cheating Dutch git.

Think it was same ref giving penalty that might have been dubious

Not sure how they can say no re gaining position then allow it to happen but not waiting till all cars in correct position....

If there were 5 back markers between them when the safety car came out there should have been 5 when it went in. That said it may have been to Hamilton's advantage if Mercedes had brought him in for fresh tyres too. Next year will be interesting as I reckon Hamilton will have a point to make.

It's been a great season, one of the best, Hamilton and crew threw 2 races away

Also Spa was a joke as well. But yes Mercedes did make mistakes. I just don't like Verstappen .

The things to take from this season, push any one you want off the track its OK until it isn't or then it might be, on a re start after safety car, start racing before all the un lapped cars are back into position regardless of if they are or not, swap as much as you like on a red flag, possibly just switch to another car, Ohh and don't follow the rules they are made up as we go along, hang on is Boris now in charge of f1, no but Yea but no but.....

Looks like it's not all over - Mercedes have lodged two protests. Not the way the championship should be concluded.

It's no wonder, either all cars should have been in place or non.

I think they have, if race control had followed normal protocol then inevitably the race would have finished under a safety car which would have been a crap ending but with a clear result.

The way they handled it was a bodge in an effort to have the last lap as a racing lap, but it backfired by delivering an unfair advantage one way.

Hamilton behaved very graciously under the circumstances conceding the title. Whichever way the outcome goes it's a terrible ending to the season.

I'm no fan of Red Bull or Verstappen but they rolled the dice on a pit stop and it gave them a fighting chance. In terms of strategy they've generally been more on the ball.

Will Latifi be off Totos Christmas card list?

Dramatic way to end a dramatic and contentious season.

Latifi should retire

Maybe, but he was only 9 points behind "superstar" Russell.

And was only courtesy of the nonsense that was Spa.

Hamilton was 12 seconds up the road when the safety car came out, in F1 terms that's a country mile. A total farce to allow the lap cars to pass the safety car and not the race leader allowing Verstappen to get onto the back of Hamilton . That's me done with F1
