Wonder who he is collecting it from? Cheers Ian Lind HD in Watford - the unit next door to Lind Triumph, from whom I bought the Tiger. The Sales Manager for both is ex-Palmers Triumph in Hemel Hempstead, from whom I bought two Triumphs previously (in fact, most of the team there transferred to Lind (presumably under TUPE) when the Palmers dealership closed its doors). fastbob Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 And as you probably know by now I have Ian's Harley . The Sportster was a great bike but this thing is in a different league and much closer to what I imagined a Harley should be like . Off to Scotland on Saturday morning . 5 Quote

Ian Frog Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 OOH! You don`t seem to have shiny rings around the ends of your pipes for you to polish. I bet you are disappointed lol. Congratulations and I hope you enjoy your new friend as much as I am enjoying mine and it seems like @fastbob is quite pleased too! So everyone a winner. Cheers Ian 1 Quote

learningtofly Posted August 21, 2022 Author Posted August 21, 2022 Another 60 miles on this beauty of a bike today (so the best part of 170 miles since picking it up). I feel like I'm beginning to understand what it's about, the things it excels at and the times you have to treat it with a bit of respect. 2 Quote

You're a serial flipper mate so I give you a few months tops regardless It's had a stage 2 so about 172Nm of torque (in other words, no). 4 years, 4 bikes (excluding the ill-fated month with a Street Twin - that one doesn't count)... this will be no 5, and I reckon I'll have it for a lot longer than a year. I know people who are a lot worse than me, btw Quote
