Bacon rolls and coffee do not belong in the same sentence !!

Now, bacon rolls and a mug of hot tea 👌

Next you'll be stating is mustard over brown sauce :D

Today I put my son in law on notice that I'll be home in about a week and be picking up the bike. Urrah.

Washed and waxed the daily mule, then did the chain on the other. Tomorrow will be full decontamination, wash and ceramic coating on the other. Once that's done it will be put away for the year.

Had a ride into Kent and Sussex today, stopping at the 1066 cafe for a mug of tea and a filthy burger. Round trip of about 120 miles.

It was around 13c, I had the heated grips on most of the time. Thermal liner in jacket now. Never has a mug of tea been so welcome.

Bike’s filthy again.

I'm really rather jealous @rob m

That sounds like a good run.

I was hoping to get out tomorrow, but too much work.

Fingers crossed fella. I actually saw a silver ZZR today identical to yours, it was a nice looking bike.

Only downside at the moment is having to wash your bike after every ride but that's no big deal I guess.

Lo no more of a pike angler and occasional walker (That is a long lap isn`t it).

Bike looks very good I hope you are pleased with it?

Nice to see spokes as I really dont think cast wheels suit Harley`s

Well, my old bike passed it's MOT, with just a rear suspension bush advisory.

It's still there though, I chatted with the guy about my 4 PSI per day loss in each of my tyres, and he said he'd take the wheels off, and put them in a bath to see where they were leaking from.

Then he forgot 🤣

I like the place, it's not a dealers, it's just a bike workshop on an industrial estate.

I told him there's no rush, so I'll probably see it next week.

There's a bit more rust than I thought there was...at some point I'll get a pro to touch up the tank.

Bar that, didn't have much time to ride as I needed to sort out five cards so that at least one of them will let me spend my money again. It's taken all the way up from then till now. Nothing's easy 😂

In the words of Frank Sinatra " That`s life thats what the people say" still looks a cool ride though.

For next time, put some water in a spray bottle with a touch of washing up liquid and spray it liberally over your tyres. Look carefully and you should then see the leak where bubbles are forming.

That's a good idea.

I've always assumed though, that wherever the wheels were leaking air from, I wouldn't be able to to do anything about it.

Knowing my luck, it's something simple like the valve cores, which I did tighten.

Well F**K me!!!

It was the valves, I've spent the past 6 months pumping my darned tyres up, even every day on holiday. The feckers that fitted new tyres in the spring didn't change the valves. They were corroded on the seat of the rim.

This has now been sorted. Jeeeeeeez.
