Server Move info

As part of the server move I need to update the DNS records 

 

Sometimes these can take a long time to update upto 24 Hours! 

 

So if you find yourself on the old site after around 18:00 then you may need to clear your cache on your browser and flush your DNS records too 

 

Instructions can be found here for flushing DNS https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html 

 

Please google how to clear your cache for the browser you are using 

 

Also please not that clearing the browser can also stop the automatic login working so please try and remember your password 

 

Hopefully things go smoothly and no one is left behind

yes. It’s horribly complicated.

 

Go to settings. Toggle airplane mode ON and then OFF.

I never mentioned or insinuated it was complicated or otherwise,my apologies for the confusion, it was merely alluding to my dislike of apple products in general, hope that clears it up for you

Well. Yes. Saying Apple device owners “deserve all you get.” Is a sentiment I’m not sure you needed to qualify.

I was a hardware engineer for Sun Microsystems, then Dell and HP. 

My last placement was with O2, could only work on the machines between midnight and 5 AM. 

Great for overtime.

Thanks Gero for the helpful info.

I’m not an apple fan boi to go out saying apple is the best ever, it works well for us as a family which is convenient, yes it has had its odd hicks in the past but I have found it a lot less difficult and stressless than Windows/microsoft/xbox etc EVER has been, as it gets worse with every millionth crap patch or update and people still pay and put up with it.
 

have to use windows at work and our IT department that also has an American in it (probably because the parent company only trust those with Stars and Stripes indoctrination process ) strangely doesn’t have a shrine for them, only a grave yard of printers, optiplex’s and boards in the room /on the desk, sooo maybe they were the latest sacrifices to the silicone gods .

It won't work while it's being moved
