Hello.

I have recently bought a Fazer from an old shed, that I come across.

Although it is mostly intact,  it has had some attempts at restoring it, and has a fair few miscellaneous parts missing,  that i am coming across when reassembling it.

I have found Fowlers Motorcycle Parts, in Bristol,  that i thoroughly recommend, but just thought that i wouud also join this site.

I look forward to interesting chats.

Hi Lee welcome to the forum, there are quite a few on here that have had Fazers so there should be plenty of advice.

Looking forward to the restoration how about photos to follow the progress.

Welcome to the group @Lee76 and good luck with the shed find.  I just love a shed find, nothing like a good fixer upper to work on over the winter months .... 😆

Sorry, I'm not sure if I posted that screen shot in the correct place, but I just wanted to share with all of you other Yamaha like minded, the appreciation that I have for Fowlers Motorcycle Parts in Bristol.

Hopefully I did send in the correct form

Indeed.

I'm reading a book by Henry Cole.

The Life Changing Magic Of Sheds.

Definitely worth a read

I’ve read that book … although enjoyable, it did leave me with enormous shed envy ☹️

Hi all.

Can someone enlighten me here.

I have just replaced the fork seals.

As I've come to fit it back together,  the nearside, at the top yoke, is sitting 8mm higher than the offside.

Obviously I can lose this by pushing it down and clamping them up, but I can't help feeling that this is in someway upsetting the balance.

Am I right?
