Morning all.  Just straight off the bat;  I'm not a bot.  Seems there is a lot of that sort of thing going round at the moment 😉.

Anyway, I have been eyeing up a screen to attach to my plucky little CG125 and have found this one https://pyramidmoto.co.uk/products/honda-cg-125-cockpit-screen-light-smoke-1998-2008.

Being new to this whole Motorcycling thing, is the price on the site (£59.99) reasonable for a screen and does anyone have any experience buying from them?  If so, are they legit / reliable?  I've already had a look on sportsbikeshop  but they don't seem to have screens for my CG125 and I'm not sure which screens they do sell that would be compatible (if anyone knows and can offer guidance I'd appreciate it since I know that sportsbikeshop sponsors this forum and so I'd prefer to buy from them where possible).

Any advice, input, or alternate buying suggestions would be most appreciated.

Not sure, but generally I think pyramid are well regarded for screens, fender extenders etc.

I'm sure someone in the know will be along shortly.

They seem legit.

You can search further at companies house about if what they say about being an English company is true

Pyramid are a decent outfit. I've got a set of hand protectors and a fender extender on my Guzzi from them. The quoted price for a screen is pretty decent too. My OEM touring screen cost me £180.

Pyramid went through a bad time/bust at one point of memory but returned with a different backer, the same machines and materials and mostly the same team. Still decent stuff from what I’ve heard, better bet than the fleecebay Chinese shite.

Yes Pyramid Plastics have been trading forever.

The screen you are looking at is made by Puig. They too have been on the go for a while and recommended. The fittings for the one you are looking at attach to the headlight, make sure your headlight is the right size, they do differ. You can also get a generic type that fit to the bars.

As above, I've used Pyramid Plastics before, no problem with them.

Yes they are OK. Had front and rear fender extenders and a rear hugger. All fitted well.

Well, given that the consensus is positive, I guess I now need to find a way to drop in to conversation with the wife that there is a website with a screen for my bike for sale and that if she didn't know what she was buying me for christmas, she was buying me that.

😄

Just a comment, if you're looking for something to add a bit of style, as long as you like the look of it that Puig one, fine, but if you're after something that's going to offer protection then you need something a bit bigger.

I have a very similar screen by Puig on my CBF500. It's a vast improvement on the oem screen. At motorway speeds (probably not your main concern on a CG125) it does a decent job of deflecting the airflow around me.
