I love to wonder….how fooked up (and how long for) is that vehicle anybody owns?
Thinking of old vehicles that didn’t end on your turn, what happened to them afterwards? What wonders was left in store  for them?

so mine was the first mot and I sold it in Oct 2022 before the next mot , to be straight it wasnt sub 10k mile bike when I sold it as the clocks were changed before hand and I managed to rack up some more miles so it lined up.
Oh and the mot is out of date and not been up dated so either it’s spontaneously combusted by the loom, rusted to death, needing parts from china they can’t get hold because they stopped selling them before they stopped making them, too expensive to sort or been scam nicked.

Oh yeah before someone says it could have been crashed due to the chain/sprocket's but thats no fun.

Oh Don’t show LC, he’ll cry over his embassy (lol westy) work robe, needing a dry clean and suck on a chopstick or two.

anyway want to share what interesting things happen to yours?

Just looked up my first big bike an FZ6.

Bought in 2014 with 10k on the clock,

It had no MOT between 2016 &19 off the road (I had other bikes),

Sold it in 2019 with 33k on the clock,

It carried on getting miles up to 47,000 miles in 2021 then no more MOTs.

My last bike is untaxed and has no MOT. It is still listed with the dealer I part exchanged with for virtually the same amount they gave me. I'm surprised they haven't shifted it on as it was a decent bike in good nick. Almost tempted to buy it back as an extra. If I had storage space I would, maybe.

The oldest registration number I can remember. My VFR750, I sold in 2002 as P/X for my VFR800. Still going strong as you would expect.

I also checked the VFR800 reg. it’s MoT expired in May last year.

My 2012 Triumph Tiger 1050’s MoT expired in 2021.

My first bike is very easy. A lad round the corner stole it. I spotted him on it, gave chase, he crashed it into a tree and reverted it to pre assembly components.

I pick up all the bits and towed them to a scrapyard.

He went to hospital and from thence to the local constabulary.

My first 2 wheeled transport was a 1971 Lambretta LI150.

checking the MOT site it MOT status is unknown / hasn’t had its first MOT.
think is too old for the system.

my last bike passed mot in 2014 then I traded it in. The next mot was in 2024 and now that has expired.

Just looked at my Exup that I owned before my R1.

Sold it in 2016 to a guy who worked at a college and they were going to use it as a project in a motorcycle mechanics course.

Sold it with 73k miles on it, it was MOT’d last year with 48k kms?

Still recall my green VFR750 bought brand new in 1997.

It is on SORN and has no MOT history.

Last change of logbook was in 2012.

I look on ebay at least twice a week for it turning up, but apart from one exciting prospect that ultimately turned into a false find, nothing.
