    Disk Pads?

I had EBC organic once and never again they was crap the lever had no feel and was spongy as hell it was as if they had air in the brake lines i could get the lever back to the bar! I use carbone lorraine SBK3 and have done for the past 6 years in the TL done over 20k with them with no adverse affects on the disks well worth it they arent as good when they are cold but they soon warm up and keep warm when riding and you wont notice that much difference
  6. Ps at the throttle end wind that adjuster all the way in to see if it makes a difference also check the throttle grip for any slack
  7. To find out if the cables are too tight run the bike and turn the bars if the revs rise or fall then they are too tight It could also be the centre adjuster too depending on the set up its hard to guess without looking! A loose return shouldn't stop it closing but a tight throttle will At least you have cruise control now
  8. Tart . That's why bikes ave brakes BRAKES!!! you ride a v twin
  9. sounds like throttle cables or something like that to me have you checked the return cable too as they work together and if the return is too tight it can cause the throttle to stick yeah 150 miles is not far for you to ride to my lock up if you can get it to me i can sort it
  10. i would gladly do work for people but you all live too far away oh Tracy laughed
  11. and to add to above check throttle cable tension at the grip as you might have took all the slack out
  12. anything snagged? pilot screws at the right amount of turns out? choke off? could just be something you overlooked
  13. Never had a problem with mine even at stupid speeds but then I have a fully faired bike.
  14. Resize this http://www.theflagshop.co.uk/ekmps/shops/speed/images/wales-welsh-flag-16-p.gif

    CAM Tensioner

Depends how bad it is if it rattles really bad then get it sorted sooner rather then later they aren't expensive its just the labour cost but very easy to do Drop Fozzie a pm he has done one I think and I'm sure he can tell you how to do it

    Rear brake pad pin

Are you sure you can knock it through? Some are solid on the other side!
  19. reeeaaaallllllyyyyyy? been thinking of a change myself
  20. Well if wemoto sell it I would buy one off them I can't see them selling cheap tak can you Pads bed in to the disk and follow the contours of it giving max breaking performance With a new disk you could have less contact patch and also cause the pads to glaze over which will stop them performing as well as they could
  21. You are supposed to replace the pads at the same time as the disk you know Never heard of them before to be honest as long as they aren't cheap Chinese crap I'm sure they would be fine
  22. I will take it off your hands for a fiver Before you take it to a pro check your fuel tap if it has one there should be a vacuum hose that opens it up when the bike is running it may have a small hole in it causing it to not open properly
