  1. remove the calipers and hold them at different angles and lightly tap them any trapped air will move then you can bleed it out

    Bike MOT

how do you work that out? Because they can say your bearings are hanging out of your wheel but i could swear they were fine. Then if you think they are fine you get a second opinion and if they are wrong report them to vosa who will happily deal with it!

    Carb Jet Blocked

You have set the idle screw haven't you?
  7. 400 quid! That's the reason I do all my own servicing! Drag its never too late to learn you know Google is your friend for the service interval to see what needs doing buy a Haynes manual and we will all help but it is easy the hardest part is getting the fairing off! Personally I would do oil and filter air filter plugs brake fluid check pads check valve clearance balance throttle bodies lube cables and all pivot points
  8. It's a cable on mine you can fit the one off the tlr which is hydraulic not sure if it makes it much lighter though I will have to investigate

    Insurance/silencers

The way of clear tube and water is actually really accurate a lot of the tl guys use them although for 40 quid you can buy a set of 4 gauges and they are easy to use They just go out over time and you would have to rig up some sort of fuel supply

    Insurance/silencers

If your pipes are ok clean them up and get some cans You will probably find it will run fine and may not need a rejet the only way to know for sure is fit them and have it on a dyno to see how the fueling is a carb balance has nothing to do with the cans a balance should be done as regular servicing requirements As for the insurance I know someone who added a shed load of performance mods and it put it up less then a tenner!
  11. Well bike is all back together Removed all the clutch today too and welded it up to take out the back torque limiter and people say it makes the clutch a little heavier that is a understatement I've been for a ride on it today and the clutch it really heavy I think I need to go to the gym Sorry no pics of the clutch I could be bothered to take some I was too eager to get out on it The rear shock is ace compared to what I had it just soaks up the bumps in the road I can't wait to have a decent ride on it now
