  1. The shock won't have a spring on as its a separate spring and shock on mine but the bike will be getting a spring It mounts to the right of the shock
  2. after much fettling its in http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r71/stu_m_photos/IMG_8262.jpg http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r71/stu_m_photos/IMG_8261.jpg i have sent a nice letter of complaint to bitubo about the rear shock i get off them and they are picking it up on monday to be repaired hopefully under warranty so that will be getting sold on ebay
  3. If you repack at do it loosely it will take up more of the noise too tight and it will be louder
  4. does it wear on what they call the shoulders? about an inch in from the edge and look like its worn more then the rest ? if so it can be normal depending on your riding style and most if not all tyres will wear the same

    Hugger

as already said post a few pix it sounds to me like its not got the correct fixings on to hold it in place or it needs some adjustment
  6. if anyone is coming to hull to do the humber bridge and it means crossing it wait till after april as they are reducing the bridge toll
  7. if you need a new lid pop to your local heine gericke they have some right bargains at this time of the year and for a little more then £40 you will get a good lid and the staff there will make sure if fits properly as fit is the most important part
  8. all im going to say is its your life if you want to trust it in a lid from lidl then go for it!
  9. If they aren't leaking why bother? If you can wait till you get them out give them a check over if they look good put them back in
  10. Sounds to me like they need a strip down remove the reals clean behind them clean pistons and put them back together Unless they are on slides and they are sticking
  11. That's why you use relay's The alternator will cope I'd say! Could always fit a proper hid kit and I mean the full projectors and not just the bulbs they only draw about 8 amps at turn on then drop to around 4!
  12. REALLY!!!
  13. Never mind sue
  14. Oh dog poo! I can't come! Well I can its the other that can't
  15. They have to be between two certain points a min an max hight the higher you go the lower the beam has to point which is measured as a percentage if you lift the bonnet on a car it should state how much percentage of beam needs the be showing usually 1.3% could be different for bikes but if you get the aligned you won't have no trouble
  16. Aprillia hate already done the 3 lights No not illegal as long as they are all aligned correctly so your not blinding people
  17. I found with the pilots powers I had to go up a few psi as I got a little movement on the rear when pushing really hard but is spot on now
  18. Dunplops/dunflops whatever you want to call them I will not touch My part experience has been they take a lot longer to warm up have far less grip and feel wooden! Forget the super corsa pro's they won't warm up enough on the road Try the Michelin pilot powers 2ct just about right on the road warm up fast good for track also play with tyre pressures too
  19. having fitted many of my own tyres i would charge more then £10 for the time and effort that goes in to it i keep looking for a cheap tyre changing machine i have a nice space in my workshop for one

    EXHAUST GLOWING RED

Some bikes like mine when riden hard can cause the exhaust to glow red Is it all the time or just if you ride hard?
  23. Having a senior moment
  24. That won't stop it starting it would cause it to cut out when in gear
  25. Does sound to me like a dodgy clutch switch On my bike if you bypass the switch it can cause the bike to run a neutral map in certain gears and feels a lot less powerful
