    I've heard they are a right pig to do on these although I've not had the pleasure of working on one! Valves are easy to check

    they dont if you look after them my brother has an 08 SV and rides it all year round the only rust he has is around the brake disc where you cant protect it properly anything will show signs if not looked after properly

  12. I honestly can't remember how I did it I'm sure I could figure it out if it was in front of me You did disarm the alarm before removing the battery then if it goes off just disarm it again?

    Protect it as already said Turn petrol tap off run bike till carb is dry and don't start it till next year You get condensation by starting it up
  14. just read this i cant remember how i used to do it but you can remove the battery without it been in service mode! im not sure if you just remove the battery then disarm the alarm when it activates then put it in ferry mode so the shock sensing is off

  18. Sounds like they forgot to use a bit of copper slip/brake grease when put back together I would never use them again!!

  20. All 2 piece zip together For normal road use 2 piece is better as you can easily take the jacket off in summer when you stop Also go try some on as off the peg leathers are hit and miss a 1 piece might not fit

    FZ6 Fazer 2003- VIN- RJ07 part No 05-RJ07-K25 YZF600 Thunder Cat 1996- VIN- 4TV part No 05-4TV-K25 from FI international website going by the first and last part number of the part number i would say yes as the centre part of the part number is the VIN of the bike
  24. well now you mention it!!! so do i and i didnt put it for the fear of been slated it makes no odds what toold you use as long as the chain is secure
  25. spend the 30 - 50 quid on new tools for the service ps well done for tackling it on your own once you have done around 1000 miles with the chain check tension and the link just for peace of mind im sure you wont have any problems though and dont forget to keep it lubed atleast every 500 miles max
