1. I heard that on the radio - apparently we'd get 3000 "free" miles before we have to cough up. Option B is public transport. It would take 3 hours to get to work instead of 30 mins in the car. The first bus is 7:15, last bus is 17:22. Four hour days for me then!
2. Stu - can you check to see if my subscription went through? PayPal kicked me out half way through.
3. How about gripping the pipe from the inside? Circlip pliers might do or even a big enough bolt or thread cutter perhaps. You only need enough purchase to overcome the force of pushing the fitting on.
4. It's well used mate. £20 all cleaned up or £150 as is.
5. Welding.
6. Its not that straight forward! and very time consuming I am currently doing a dry run on my PC and its taken 30 mins to get to 18% f**k me Stu, going in dry? No wonder you're only at 18%!
7. Million pounds! But for you, how about a fiver plus postage?
8. Yes mate, one of the chest ones. It's an ergobaby original:
9. Agreed, but that is the crux of it. What would be worth it for those still yet to subscribe? Sexy pics of the mods/admins? Maybe only subscribers can use the sales section.
10. We're having a sort out and have loads of baby stuff we want rid of. We've got bags of clothes, Avent electronic breast pump, steriliser, baby carrier, moses basket, pram suits, maxi cosi car seat with base... the list goes on... Is anyone interested or know anyone who might like any of it? It'll be silly cheap. Cheers, Fro
11. If you want to renew subscription then you can do or via paypal as @XTreme has posted If people want a subscribers only area I could look at something like that or some other benefits if need be Friends with benefits?
12. Yeah okay. What are we doing about money - just renewing our subscription? Are we going to have a subscribers only area?
13. Wife has been on the back twice in seven years. The first time was fine, the second time I went a bit quick for her liking even though I assured her that I kept it under a ton. It works quite well here mind you, she has a Lotus she never uses and I have bikes I rarely use. The thing that stops either of us pissing about with our respective toys is the children.
14. Nice! Now the trick it to wear the tyres down to the ply before you hand it back.
15. The "advanced rider" clearly wasn't that advanced if they stuffed it on some mud!
16. Don"t be gentle, it's a rental. One of the best things about the recall on my BMW the other week was the courtesy car - reasonable spec and they paid the fuel.
17. In my experience, most older bike headlights are turd. Some people fit upgraded bulbs (who I'm sure will chip in soon) and wiring can be fiddled to increase light output a smidge but ultimately, I've not found a quick and easy way to massively increase headlight performance.
18. Isn't it made of sheep?
19. I've made then from wood before - it works okay. Aluminium extrusion works better though, much easier to adjust it and much more rigid.
20. Niiiiice! I bought a busted one to fix & flog not long after I moved to the sticks. Just after I fixed it we had the first of many power cuts. Worst so far has been about a week.
21. Tou don't want people questioning her parentage bo do you. I "borrowed" an L200 warrior must be 15 years ago from Skanska to collect a set of wheels from the other side of the country. It was dark and lashing it down and I did some accidental off roading somewhere out in the sticks. Had an absolutely brilliant time even though it was slow and handled like a turd on the road.
22. Even more reason to have a generator.
23. Give her a chance, she's just turned one!
24. Nice video focussing on the real stuff that matters. My daughter liked it too - she sat nice and still and watched the whole lot.
