Yea, black ones are the quickest. Knew I would convert you sooner or later. . By the way the tax is out of date.

Wiped the dust off, fuelled up and set off to “The Pilots Mess” at Sywell airfield. Good food and a view over the airfield whilst it was consumed. Worth a run out.

Could try caravan awning repairs, or ask at a caravan, camping shop if they know or use anyone for repairs.

Went for a ride. Didn’t see a lay-by to stop in for a photo opportunity, so stopped at Jacks Hill for an all day breakfast and a photo with a 1950’s Chevy. A yellow Ducati also crept in.

Buy new stuff in the same colour as the old, then it’s not noticed.

The museum is at the railway station. Have a look at the roads on google maps. There is a sign to the museum on the A830 -
Compared to my SatNav the Speedo was about 7 mph out at 70. Reading faster of course. Speedo is off the front sprocket. Rear tyre wear also makes a difference.

Good old volt drop on the OEM wiring.

With green flag through the Caravan club. Covers 2 cars, motorbike, caravan. Accident recovery. If on holiday will recover to holiday destination and if can’t get it fixed there will recovery back to home address. Driver illness also covered. Last time I was offered AA the agent said no when I asked for caravan coverage. Not sure if this has changed.

Not good. Hope you recover soon. by the way it’s the same if your retired and sick. Still get bored if you can’t get out and play on the bike.

We were due to go to Hungary and Austria mid July. Last time I looked neither countries were allowing non nationals in. Then at the weekend we were advised that holiday is cancelled. That’s twice now. Third time lucky? Now booked for next May.

Did the same when I was looking for new boots a good few years ago with @Hoggs. Expensive but comfy and waterproof.

Good run out today and accidentally stopped at the Touchdown cafe in Wellesborne. Would have been rude not to have a bacon and coffee. ️

In the area I live HS2 is now in full swing. Local builder can’t get timber, concrete, sand cement or bricks as HS2 have bulk ordered everything. Added to this the first lock down when all the builders merchants were shut when they re-opened everything in stock was bought and they could not restock as the basic suppliers, quarries etc were shut down and struggling rotor restart. My mate is a builder and we are trying to arrange for him to build an extension, but he is so behind due to late and missed deliveries don’t know when it will happen.
