Seems strange that Amazon will accept Amex as they have historically, along with Diners Card, charged much more than Visa and Master Card. There are still many places that don’t take Amex due to the high transaction charge. I never found any one who would take Diners when I had one as a company credit card.

This is so true. I have more problems swapping between my car and my wife’s car than my car and the bike.

Annoyingly i had 2 Barclay cards. One Visa and one mastercard so if either had a problem the other card would work. Then Barclaycard stopped using mastercard so i now have 2 visa barclaycards.

I had to have a new screen recently with Autoglass and they couldn’t fit a new screen at my home, so I paid the £75 excess when I picked the car up. Apparently a new screen for the car was over £1200

Ultimately owned by the Geely group which also controls Lotus Proton and Volvo.

After the rain stopped went off to the Motorcycle Museum. Now sat in Touchdown cafe after getting caught in a light shower. Coffee and bacon sandwich has been eaten.

Not good. Glad you are reasonably ok. Had that happen 12 months ago, also the 3rd party admitted liability. Insurers declared it an economical write off. Think that was mainly the cost of a new fairing.
