If you think that was bad be thankful you weren’t feeding a pension before 1997! https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/pensions/article-1692321/Has-Labour-really-ransacked-our-pensions.html My pot has taken a year on year hit from this and from legislation bought in after the Maxwell Mirror pension fund swindle. And other legislation which virtually ended final salary schemes, (it ended mine ).

Was due to go out today but torrential rain put pay to the planned ride. Cleared up by lunch time so went out on my own for a quick blast to Kidderminster, see picture in 2020 tags. No video, forgot to put the SD card back in. Unfortunately can’t do anything over the weekend.

When I was buying a car some years ago, I had cash ready, the salesman during discussions on how I would finance drastically said he wasn’t interested in cash deals as he would make more from a finance agreement. Went elsewhere same model of car, paid cash got free number plates for my trailers and car mats. He also said he and the dealers would make more from finance agreements.

I rode a few times, legally, without a helmet for short trips pre 73. But even then I preferred to wear a helmet on longer trips.

Rode it, Elan Valley and back for lunch.

Well it’s Friday and forecast is good, not as hot as last week, so off to Elan Valley. Stratford on Avon, Leominster, Elan Valley. Lunch at Rhayader. Then back to Crossgate and A488 to Ludlow. Then a photo stop at Clee Hills Before returning home via Kidderminster. Good 215mile run.
