4. Ollie here you go try this for £6.00 http://www.bobwrightmotorcycles.co.uk/coguar_general_parts.htm
5. I know that road so well ! I'm surprised there wasn't still flooding down by the bridge . The water was up a lot but not across the road. But you are correct it does flood easily. It’s my normal route to get onto the Fosse Way. So today it was along the Fosse to Moreton In Marsh then back to Ettington and home via Wellesbourne.
6. Wear the right gear and cold isn’t too much of a problem. More problematic was riding into the sun.
7. Ride out to Timothy’s Tea Room, now called Timothy’s Restaurant. Timothy’s Tea Room
8. First run out for a while due to weather and back problems. As the skies were blue I went out and I thought I’d post this for XTreme. Your not the only one to get out in the sun, mind it was 7 deg C.
9. bonio
10. I imagine you'll get at least one.... That wasn't the question I guess she means at least one up to date score probably end of December
11. Needs to go in the pictures section Mike, and add your challenge score in your profile to make it easier for Hoggs in case the scores get updated.
12. Conditions change so fast and it’s not always obvious to turn back. Last year got caught on the Fosse Way in cold rain, quickly turned to sleet which settled into slushy snow. At this point the road was steep ups and downs. I was going down, breaks caused the ABS to actuate immediately then going up the back was fishtailing. I made it up to a plateau and stopped. My mate made it to the bottom of a hill where he fell off when the bike slid from under him. We should have stopped when there were first signs of the sleet. Still you survived, and so did we, but valuable lessons have been learnt. Good look for the retake.
13. I have 50 Gig so I can afford splash it around a bit . Interesting comments about the Scottish Highlands . A few short years ago I would have agreed with you but just recently I have seen massive improvements . In fact I can't recall anywhere at all where there has been no data and I've done most of the NW500 .Same in the more remote parts of Wales . Went from Killin to Huntley. Lost phone signal a few times never lost SatNav. But you are correct over the past few years phone has greatly improved in Scotland The Lakes and Wales.
14. I have a SatNav and a smart phone. Don’t use google for nav because don’t have unlimited data. Also been in many areas, mainly Scottish highland where there is no phone signal. (Also have an old small Garmin unit used for hill walking in the lakes and Scotland. Number of times had no phone signal but the Garmin GPS has always had a signal for route guidance). SatNav always has a satellite signal so can always find a route. Does link to phone so can receive traffic updates and does not use much data for this. Mounted on the bars so in line of sight. Can change options on the go without stopping and taking gloves off. I’m old school so I use a camera to take pictures, a SatNav to find my way and the phone to make calls.
15. Best off uploading to YouTube Then copy the link into your post.
16. Joe1965 Just a thought, is the clutch dragging. When the engine ran and the wheel turned was the bike in gear or in neutral?
17. Yep a from me.
18. dern just post when you can. Don’t forget to add the place titles and update your score in your profile.

Bike issues

An electric short circuit noise is soften a crack or pop followed by magic smoke. Then thing stop working. By noise do you mean a crackle or zingy noise. If so this could be a loose connection and the noise is arcing. In the dark this would show up as sparks.
20. Or new shear bolts. I had the right sized button head bolts to hand. Fairy nuff

Bike issues

I use an optimate charger that connects to the battery on the bike. The instructions do not say to remove battery, only remove if the vehicle instructions say to remove battery.
22. Or new shear bolts.
23. Wouldn't know , I've got Avon Cobras with snakeskin effect sidewalls . Snakeskin sidewalls, the bike will be wriggling all over the place then.
24. Just need a good cup of coffee now to dunk those in.
