1. It's almost as if people like different things Always wanted to get a few tattoos (know the location and design) but never found someone that I trust enough to put artwork on my body for life! Know too many mates that got cheap ones done when we were younger that look awful now. Love my piercings and hope to get more.
2. BECAUSE the you was warned that somthi g was about to happen . If you had not been told before hand you would have just been riding along . I would have hit her again stupid woman surprised she lived as long as she has due to her stupidity at crossing roads .. So I think I'm one of the unlucky ones on the forum who can say they have had an accident that was caused by a pedestrian running into the road, so I think I can say I have a little experience in this matter... The pedestrian should not have been crossing the road without being cautious of traffic, cyclists, bikers etc. However most people here will have crossed in a similar situation when the traffic is jammed like that, I hope they've been more alert. The rider Should have been looking out for these sort of things, a big part of filtering is being FAR more aware of what's happening around you, especially pedestrians or vehicles changing lane. In this case, there is no reason they shouldn't have seen her through the cars; she was clearly visible for the duration of the crossing, as shown on the video like Stu said. So, pedestrian should have taken far more care crossing, but the biker also should not have been filtering so fast if he clearly wasn't able to properly asses the dangers around him.
3. Oooh where's some pics? I've been out of the loop the last few days with a mega-cold, so sorry if you've posted them elsewhere and I've missed them. That are posted in new steed thread Hope your feeling better now Thank you ^_^ Honestly the first name that popped into my head was "Crotch-fire" but that's probably jinxing the lifespan of the bike a little... I kinda want to keep to the "Toys" naming scheme for your bikes now Jigsaw and then... Weeble? "Wheebles wobble but they don't fall down...!"

14. ^ ^ ^ This all sounds like Rally venues, which is for Stu to arrange Will start looking at places in the next week or so and float some ideas. Need to start working out where people are in the country, Bender where are you based?
15. Hullo peeps, I wanted to start a thread to get an idea of what folks look for in an overnight biking meet; mainly who is ok with sleeping in a field! It's a shame to see the Rally might not happen this year as it's a fairly central point for most TMBF peeps to pin their biking calendar around; where we know we get to see each other and have a few drinks. So there's a few of us who enjoy meeting up and camping somewhere over a full or partial weekend. If turning up on bikes at a campsite, hanging out round a campfire / BBQ, chatting into the night with a few drinks before crashing out in tents sounds like something you might be up for this season then this is thread is prob where I'm going to start throwing out locations and dates. Know any good venues? Got any awesome ride out routes? Post them all here and we'll see if we can get some meets sorted
16. Oh Megawatt.... I was always amazed how each year his chosen outfit was always more scandalous (and vomit inducing) than the last... Quite a feat! Then Beefy tried to outdo him and instead looked so good in a skirt he made some of the biker blokes question their sexuality! Including a random local bloke he picked up at the bar by accident
17. This threads properly giving me the warm and fuzzies You lot really are lovely under the tough biker shell. In a previous role, I was put on a certain medication to try to stop my migraines. What the doctor didn't consider is that these tablets tended to drop your blood pressure a tad; not so great for someone who already has low blood pressure normally. Feinted in the office and they ended up calling an ambulance to the building for me. My boss was Fuming! My doc then told me I wasn't allowed to drive for a week until they moved me on to another med and let my body settle. More fury from the boss. In my leaving meeting I was told that I had taken more time off sick than he had in the last 15 years and that wasn't how they did it at that company. P.s. This is the same company where, while riding into work one morning, I came off my bike. My first blathered comments after some lovely person helped me up off the road were "I need to ring my boss" and, still with tears of shock I did just that. His first line after I explained that I'd just come off my bike was "What time do you think you'll be in?"
18. we want a photo Hah, I'll put up a pic of me on my Sprint at some point. It's daft for the same reasons..!
19. We've already got enough with the one who blew herself up last summer. Whoa Whoa! This is a tale which needs telling!
20. Sorry, can you explain this to me? I feel like I've missed something. Anyone here who's met me at a meet will probably not be surprised that in any interview, you don't have to pull teeth to get me to blather on I mean it's a trait that's worked out pretty well for me as I think I've been offered 90% of jobs I've interviewed for, and kept in touch with most previous bosses as mates, but I always walk away from them thinking "Why don't you just shut your gob Gin, jeez..."
21. Oooooh Always liked these (although I look ridiculous on them).
22. Hah, no worries. It's quite an old phrase, but the basic telling is: An old rancher is talking about politics with a young man from the city. He compares a politician to a "post turtle". The young man doesn't understand and asks him what a post turtle is. The old man says, "When you're driving down a country road and you see a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a post turtle. You know he didn't get up there by himself. He doesn't belong there; you wonder who put him there; he can't get anything done while he's up there; and you just want to help the poor, dumb thing down."
23. .... Come back with screenshots, I can't wait to see what they say to you
24. This is amazing and I would have expected the exact same scenario at my last place of work; including the double standards on emails to all. Snarky, passive-aggressive office politics, full of high horses and post turtles drive me nuts
