  1. Selling on behalf of the wife : Ladies Spidi leather trousers. Italian size 40 which is about a UK size 8. They come up quite large and fit more like a 10 although the waist is tiny. I bought them from ebay and I've never worn them. £30 + p&p Local pick up (ox11) also
  2. Re benson its not a full out track day .... the surface is a live runway with markings and lights on the course and in some respects a standard road is smoother and easier ro ride but you get to open the bike out alot more on runway Its a riding skills day but there are lots who will use it like a trackday .... But enjoy it and don't be shy to ask the instructors for help.
  3. Put the old lever on and adjust it correctly ... See if it works The new lever may not be transferring enough pull to the clutch system . Common issue with non compatible cosmetic upgrade generic parts
  4. What bike? Any recent work ? Was it working perfectly and then this just happened ? To be honest as it will allow you to select a gear i will pre say it is an adjustment issue ( some bikes have two cable adjusters ...one on the handlebar end and one on the engine end and some then have an adjustment in the engine/clutch mechanism
  5. Possibly won't work with his master cylinder setup if its an intergral reservoir/master cylinder Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161921362537 Dont get the cheap ones from china/ hk etc you will be waiting weeks Using a bolt to seal the hole will require sealant/ rubber washers and then you have to make sure its sealed . Brake fluid will creep through a lot of items and its one fluid that you dont want on paintwork , brake disks , control switches/ internal contacts , control grips , clothing ( imaging its on your grips ,you use your glove to wipe your visor at night to remove that layer of fine misty rain ... you will not see bugger all . You can buy new sightglasses but not sure what price .. Ps how the hell did you break that !

    Bike won't fire

When you changed the plug did you use a specified type for the bike ? If the brake light you installed had stopped the bike firing am wondering if its caused the coil to short out/ become weak sparked If its running too rich Turn the mixture screw 1/8th turn in to lean it out a bit Try it see if any difference If not try another 1/8th Do this 4 times only ( so technically 1/2 turn from its specified setting) If the screw had been turned in too hard it could have damaged the seat or the needle which would result in an incorrect setting mixture Video doesn't work
  7. So it rode there fine ... Has never been an issue with it before But now it has wired itself backwards ... Does yours have the kickstarter and if so does it start on that ? Has it had any recent work on it ? Has it had any issues recently ? How long have you owned it ?
  8. Is it safe to use on helmets and not weaken the material ?

Did you screw the mixture screw all the way in till it stops ( lightly ) hopefully counting the turns And then turn the screw out making sure you have adjusted it based on which carb you have .
  10. Personally i would avoid supporting/ raising on pipe anyway ...
  11. Best /safest Rear paddock stand and a jack . Bodgers method ...Two step ladders one either side of bike ...large piece of wood supported by both ladders (6/8 foot fence post ).two sturdy ratchet straps around frame or headstock .raise bike via ratchet straps

    What's the buzz?

Something is loose somewhere ... Check exhaust covers, fairing panels Rev it to the req revs and prod and poke things ,turn the bars etc to try and pinpoint a location
  13. Try https://www.drbikes.co.uk/ Call would be best . They do a lot of stunt bikes with cb600's

    Bike won't fire

Well reading from your posts you have over richened the mixture . With mixture screws you make minimal adjustments ie 1/8th of a turn If you are making the mixture richer you may need to also raise the idle revs slightly and vice versa if you make it lean See if you can get the screws back to their standard settings ( listed in manual) To get it running to normal running temperaturr and then fine tune if necessary Be gentle with tuning screws and dont force them when they get to the end of their travel Make sure your air filter is clean and the choke operation works as it should before adjusting anything To adjust the idle speed use the idle screw not the mixture screw

Are you 100% sure it was the idle screw you turned and not the mixture screw ? If that is all you have done before it stopped working I would if you could remember how much and which way you turned that screw restore it to those previous settings and see if it fires Second picture down locates idle screw https://www.manualslib.com/manual/804522/Suzuki-Vl125.html?page=22 You have turned the kill switch back on ?

Fair enough I will accept the ban on the following conditions 48 hrs = 2880 minutes And i will accept to be banned for either 1min a day(time is of your own choosing ) = approx 7.89 years Or to prolong my punishment i will allow 1 min a week Which in my calculations 2880 / 52 weeks a year = 55.38 years

Yep the final parts of your contract are contract Slightly reaaranged to NO
  19. Check the air filter is clean Check the choke is operating properly Check the idle speed compared to the owners manual and adjust accordingly .
  20. Considering he bought it only yesterday..... Please note my posts are only highlighting what can happen but have stated to check the basics ( i have even refrained from asking if it has enough fuel in tank ) Was it a private sale or dealer .
  21. If the engine still turns and starts on a bump its not seized . Do a compression test if all basics are ok to determine all internals are doing their job sufficently .
  22. from the way you have explained it Sounds ok in in part but you have to question his operation as legally : . There’s a maximum number of learners to instructors 4 learners per trainer for on-site parts 2 learners per trainer for on-road parts Which he complied with but he had 4 students but being 1 instructor he could only take 2 out from the start ... So hmmm sorry you have to come back on another date for two of them at x price Or was there another instructor available but the students were not at a suitable level ?
  23. Oil is a huge part of the cooling system on an engine the hotter oil gets the thinner it gets .. This results in bits getting hotter and expanding . It may be a simple fuel issue with the heat . Do basic checks for a spark ,fuel delivery and battery / charging outputs It may be as FB says due to lack of oil results in .. Gaskets failing due to overheating /warping Piston rings becoming brittle from overheating loosing compression especially on a hot engine Spark plug failing/ burning out due to overheating Pistons burning out due to overheating loosing compression Valves burning out due to overheating Do the basics and see from there Some engines have a sensor to engage limp mode/cut power in low oil pressure .
  24. Possible blocked breather but due to hot weather and fuel expansion it is quite common for breathers not to cope and the caps to be displaced under pressure .
  25. Go back to the original school and explain how you felt ( email/show them your post if you don't feel like vocalising it ) give them the chance to help you first .
