  1. I’m working till 16:00 but if there’s some people from here going I’ll make the effort to pop over!!
  2. I’ve only ever done PADI stuff and have no experience of BSAC. The main dive shop in Norwich is PADI and just stuck with them. Although from what I hear PADI is more of a money making get up than BSAC. Living in Norfolk there’s some great shore diving. A few wrecks are doable and you have chalk gullies out at Sheringham and Cromer which are some of the most enjoyable dives I’ve done.
  3. For listening to music I have these. https://www.bowerswilkins.com/en-gb/headphones/px You can vary the amount of noise that they allow through. So the aircraft setting is totally noise cancelling, office setting lets voice through etc..... What about these? They are designed for sleeping in but they don’t play music but white noise like rain or waves and stuff..... https://www.bose.co.uk/en_gb/products/headphones/noise_masking_sleepbuds/noise-masking-sleepbuds/buy.html?mc=05_PS_EE_PL_00_GO_&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI--urnsL84AIVEed3Ch20zQQFEAQYASABEgKOGvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  4. Yep, checked one of those out when one first opened in Norwich. Rubbish. Had some sharing platter thing. There was a skin on one of the dishes as it had been sitting under the heat lamp, just one piece of chicken in another and a bottle of beer was stupidly expensive. It’s closed now......
  5. Or a chopping board Or those slanted bowls that the food can fall out of (they had those yesterday) Chips that come in a little fry basket or a cone. Cones are fine for chips at the seaside, but not my steak!!
  6. Anywhere where the food is served on a slate....
  7. Ahh! How about the BSB at Assen, Bochum, Cologne, on to Stuttgart, Mercedes, Porsche and Oktoberfest then Black Forest and beyond?! Planning on heading to Stuttgart this year for the third year running. Although we flew last year and will do again this year!
  8. If you’re heading out mid September, and if you like beer, swing by Stuttgart for Oktoberfest. If you can drag it out till the end of September beginning of October that is. I’ve done from the Hook of Holland to Stuttgart in about 6 hours just blasting down. Then you’re pretty near the Black Forest. Also did I mention Oktoberfest?! And there’s the Mercedes and Porsche museums which are great.
  9. Tesco and their new candle display a few months ago... I also like to set all the cooking timers for a 10 min countdown. I’ll grow up one day. Or not.
  10. They work well From what I am hearing Arai won't make a helmet with an internal visor! Whether it's true who knows! But this system will fit most Arai's Apparently they won’t make a helmet with an internal visor as it wouldn’t be as safe or pass the snell test. I have one fitted to my QV-Pro and I never notice it when it’s raised. And it’s better to look through than other internal visors when I have my glasses on too.
  11. That’s something I’d be tempted to dust the tent off for!
  12. It’s a dance that happens every year. Get a renewal, see it’s god knows how much more than last year, go on price comparison website and get a cheaper price by a good margin. Some times I’ve even had a cheaper price on the comparison website with the same bl**dy company! So cancel and renew as a new customer.
  13. Two wheel Tuesday at the Ox and Plough in Old Buckenham. Every Tuesday during the summer on the village green.
  14. Love a fatty! Got the DJ BBQ book for Christmas so looking forward to doing a few things from that. The lamb wrap especially!
  15. Finished nights this morning and now on rest days. I’ll be back in after Boxing Day which means I’ll be on nights for NYE..... yay..........
  16. Although looking at it again, the tube that is not hooked up could be the filler tube. The clear one the other end looks like it might have fluid in and the black one is the vacuum tube. I had the touring model fitted so yours is a different design to mine. Look for a tube that’s fitted to the swingarm, running along it with a little nozzle that’ll drop a bit of oil onto the chain every minute or so.
  17. Thanks! That's handy, will have to see if it's hooked up correctly now I know what it is! If part of it is not connected to anything I’d say it’s definitely not hooked up correctly. To be honest having had one you’re probably better off with normal chain maintenance.
  18. Looks like a scottoiler reservoir to me.
  19. Yes very much so. I started off a few years back with just a Weber kettle. Soon after a 57cm smokey mountain folowed. Quite often doing the shoulders of pork for 18+ hours. I now have a Traeger which is much easier to use for the longer cooks. Also have the rotisserie for the kettle which is great for chickens, joints of beef and there’s a great chicken kebab recipe I can recommend if required! Once the meat has finished cooking on the kettle I usually do the Yorkshire’s on there while the meat is resting!
  20. Fancy the Ardennes. Loosely planning a trip in May. Want to check out the wartime history in that area. Only went as far as Ypres on last trip.
