  10. I work out six days a week and use quite a lot of supplements. For the avoidance of doubt, whilst I am sharing my schedule with you, I am by no means recommending it and I heartily (geddit) suggest that you consult firstly with a medical professional and then a recovery specialist trainer rather than ask about it on a motorcycling forum. Right, caveat and legal disclaimer out of the way.... There is little to no point doing cardio and resistance training on the same day. You mention dumbells which is great, I love free weights, but you don't mention what you're doing with them. If you want to just develop cardio strength as well as a little more stamina and lifting strength then you're going about it the wrong way (see comments about consulting a professional before embarking on any training regime). My own schedule is: Day 1 - upper body with some core exercises Day 2 - 20 minutes high intensity interval training (HIIT) - running Day 3 - legs and lower muscle groups Day 4 - 20 minutes HIIT - swimming Day 5 - back and some core Day 6 - 20 minutes HIIt - cycling Day 7 - rest Muscles require a lot of attention and need an absolute minimum 3-4 days per group to rebuild after the microtearing caused by resistance training. This is why packing on protein if you want to build mass is essential, you basically are damaging the muscles intentionally then powering in the nutrients needed to rebuild them more strongly afterwards. My diet consists most days of: Cup of green tea before workout Protein drink, creatine and BCAA supplement after workout Porridge for 11ses Chunk of chicken or turkey with salad and quinoa or lentils for lunch followed by fruit salad Protein bar with BCAA supplement mid-late afternoon Balanced meal for dinner - more carbs than usual (and this is where I fall over because I like a drink around this point) Cottage cheese or scrambled egg whites on toast for late snack with BCAA supplements Supplements I take: multivitamin with iron BCAA (branch chain amino acid, this helps the body absorb the proteins faster) Creatine (not recommended unless you're putting on mass, this causes water to be absorbed into the muscles which dilutes lactic acid enabling you to train harder, you have to cycle it up and down) Green tea (energy and fat burning as well as some hocum nonsense about anti cancer which I don't believe) ZMA - a zinc magnesium amino supplement which helps the body to replenish lost stocks of calcium, among other things. Also promotes testorone production and has some err interesting affects... ahem. Let's just say it's been referred to as a natural viagra lol. Also hugely helps get a great night sleep, I take three a night. That's it. If I trained less I wouldn't go anywhere near supplements. I see guys trying to take bags of pills of snake oil at the gym, hoping it'll be some wonderdrug that is somehow going to replace hard work. It won't. The science behind weight loss, strength and nutrition is pretty easy really, you don't need more than I've outline and even then only really need those if you're trying to get a bit more swoll. tl;dr - talk to a professional first.
  11. Full face flip lid is what I own. I understand it's perfectly legal to ride with the lid flipped up.
  12. The nearest motorway to me is about 130miles away Lovely a & B roads around Cornwall though!
  13. . Hmm? I've been buying razer stuff since the early deathadders, never had anything go wrong on me... one of the most highly respected high end peripheral companies in the world. It's one of many reasons why there is such a cult following - people getting the logo tattooed on themselves etc lol. In fact just about every pro gamer in the world uses razer products. Personally I use a tournament mouse, black widow tourney keyboard and the Tartarus. What's the deal? You had a bad experience with them? They feel cheap. I've had several of their mice and none of them felt as solid as the logitech ones. I had the battery go on one of their rechargeable mice, it just slowly grew and grew it pushed off the cover and became really quite alarming, I chucked it out before whatever was inside had a chance to leak. Despite providing them with photos and it being <1 yr old, I never got a replacement. Headsets feel cheap too, never bought one because I couldn't get past the feeling that it wouldn't last long. I figured they had the cult following purely because they sponsor the crap out of tournaments and twitch gamers so people assume they must be awesome. I bought the hype a few times and was disappointed each time. How odd. Well, to be honest, I'm surprised they feel cheap, especially comparing razer (about£100 min) to Logitech (about £30) of all things lol. Havent had a rechargeable one, as a gamer I've always used the wired variants. Don't understand the issue with the replacement, if it was under warranty then it's within your legal rights. Last time I had a problem with anything, it was a keyboard related issue and i tweeted Min-Liang directly and he organised both a replacement and a goody bag including a backpack! Sorry and, frankly, astounded to hear of your issues. By the way, pro gamers have been using razer long before they really started sponsoring anything. Your incredibly unusual and rare experience aside, everyone I know who uses them has tried lots of other things to but always heads back to Razer. Haven't actually tried or even picked up the headsets as I bought some turtle beach ones about ten years ago and haven't needed anything since as they're still going strong!
  14. Oh really? Lol, my work desktop has 6x27inch screens But that's a laptop... you said laptop my home desktop only has three screens lol.
  15. Oh really? Hrm, I hope Razer build better laptops than they do peripherals... . Hmm? 16. I think it actually just is Silverstone Golf Club and Hotel lol.
  17. Played golf at a hotel near there a couple of years ago. Stayed at same hotel, wasn't too expensive but it was nice enough to silence even my ridiculously spoiled wife so should be ok. Think it was about £100 a night at most. Dunno if that helps.
  18. Deeply concerned as to where your hands would be...!
  19. I've been putting off trying to diagnose a problem with a computer. Basically, I spilt lager on it one night, brilliant idea for something that cost more than my bike. Anyway, neither graphics card is now identified, Can't decide if I should remove them and clean everything and just hope for the best (the fans aren't even starting up, eek). Or give up and just replace them with something cheap first to see if it's a mobo issue. I've been procrastinating doing this for months now. At the moment the computer simply serves as the worlds most expensive USB charger for my ecig...
  20. Aye, I'm not a fan of the square ones. This is the exact one I bought - doesn't seem too obtrusive... http://mycrocamuk.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/rh-ride-r-helmet-600x600.jpg
  21. Doubtful at the relatively pedestrian speeds I progress at. There's no motorways around here and I think it's only an issue for those cruising around at 80 rather than trotting gently at 40-50 tops. I might be wrong though, but all the research I read suggested it shouldn't Ben an issue for me given roads and riding styles. When I do progress to a bigger bike, well, I'll report back. Just ordered the little thing anyway, now to wait in nervous anticipation to see if it comes with those sticky pads.
