  1. Mine had a well used old Honda for your first outing then sv650's, I was given a shinny new one no pressure there then.
  2. Schaffler, nsk, skf, have bearing authentication apps.
  3. Balls ! No offence Bob but sometime you... Rub me up the wrong way. Balls.... Bearings
  4. Going to a good supplier. Is usually enough to set you on the right path, don't be surprised if even good bearings come with made in China on then, timken and nsk both manufacture in China but quality control is good.
  5. Cheap shit still prevails in bearings and its certainly not something you want to skimp on, given the choice always replace with a good known brand, not saying dealer but not crap either
  6. Yup, others putting in noise recorders with cameras and you can guarantee they will spread like weeds once they are fetching in money.
  7. Was one from Halfords, wasn't professional one but other than that no idea, went straight to machine mart bought one took wheel off without additional leverage.

    Hi

    Welcome
  15. Got a spare bed for a weekend ohh and a loan bike.
  16. I have not had to return anything yet lol but service from rh davey has been great, bought my dad a jasic for Xmas simply for size and weight, he's been very impressed with it. I have a cheap ac/dc of Chinese origin and by cheap its not, was still 800 its not a patch on any of the other machines.
  17. Just over £8 a screwdriver at that price! Its a good investment But as I say you don't need the slotted ones and the IMPACTA's so just buy these at £27 https://ruggedroads.co.uk/epages/00cbb604-5d1c-407e-8207-580e14387ec5.sf/en_GB/?ObjectID=7575847 Although the IMPACTA's are good for stubborn screws I've got a set of Vessels. I really like them as they fit JIS very well and the serrated tip gives more grip on the screw head, even ones that have been a bit chewed up by some chump using a posidrive. I can see how the Impacta would be handy and I'm very tempted but I'm trying to get a £1.5k welder by the wife at the mo so they might have to wait. https://rhdaveywelding.co.uk/ I've had some good deals from these in the past, they very good on beating prices usually, sometimes means it comes direct from the manufacturer in a box with no plug but warranty is the same, most of my stuff ends up with a 16 or 32amp plug anyway so it's no prob. Also https://www.weldequip.com/ You can get an ac jasic for 1k with 3yr warranty. I would drop a line to the first one though, got my ifl tig from them.
  18. Sounds great, can I order a bottle?
  19. No idea on the torque required for your nuts , but make sure you get a good bar, long is good you can add a tube to it for real stubborn things but not if it's made of cheese. Bought one from halfords years ago, went to take wheel of wife's focus, bit of effort and away it went, or so I thought, nope I just ripped the 1/2 drive out of the end knuckle, straight back it went followed by an argument over misuse, Errr I used it to take the wheel of that car.
  20. Where did you get the plaster? Everywhere within 20 miles of me has been out of it for months! Local wickes, 8 plaster board couple bags base plaster, top coat, adhesive, jointing filler, easy fill, they appear to be well stocked only thing I couldn't get was garden tap for in-laws, I would have much preferred they were out of plaster and had tap Took an age to get in though as tills were down, was there at 6.50am I got last trolly, would have been bloody annoyed if I had to wait for one, there were folk at till with big trollies and a couple of little things in top basket stupid twats. It's because man on door was directing everyone to trollies so they were taking them regardless.
