1. Not only that the earth can fur up when permanently connected! don't ask me why but they do This was a massive problem on the rider v1 and the mount would stop working Get it on a switched live if you can @Tankbag Earth connection furring up is down to electrolysis, its just down to the flow of electrons, on old cars with positive earth it used to cause corrosion on the bodywork, they switched to negative earth cause its easier to replace cables and connections than bodywork.
2. You my friend have lived a sheltered life I have had a very healthy respect for any kind of power tool since our woodwork teacher had his fingers pulled off on a vertical sanding disc . I also knew a girl whose hair had gone into a lathe at school . Luckily it yanked a big piece of scalp off before she was pulled in . The hospital grafted it back on . So I've always been extra careful and it has paid off . What used to hurt more than the lathe chuck key stoting of your head on the way to the ceiling? The blackboard rubber stoting of the back of your head because A you started it up with the key still in the jaw and B you didn't pull the guard down.
3. You can't run to the hospital with every little niggle I'd agree if it was just a slight burn but that's a 1st degree burn so bit more than just a niggle I was alluding to his resilience, having spent more than a few hours in A&E it always makes me mad when you see what some of the f*ckwits belive are an emergency. At least with triage some of them don't make it past the door. I have seen on multiple occasions the police fetching the salt of the earth (scum) who invariably are delaying a trip to the cells, funniest was a prick who said his right shoulder had been dislocated, passed triage, booked in, sat down, nurse came out to take notes and he said it was his left shoulder, he was obviously pissed and or stoned, police dragged him off laughing.

5. I stapled myself to a curtain tieback once, was in a hurry and instead of using clamp type stapler, I grabbed fixing stapler and promptly put a 14mm t50 staple through it and into my thumn , I didn't laugh at the time.
6. Was long time ago but I remember it well, that's nothing to the things I inadvertently did as s a kid, I was a nightmare for my poor mother.
7. When I was young I almost fainted, was cutting carpet for my landy to absorb the water so the carpet would freeze in the winter. It's a landy thing. Wasnt the knife it was the razor edged steel straight edge, slipped off steel, (using edge of Wall) straight over metacarpophal joint index finger on right hand, said ouuch a few times, held with other hand, didn't feel too bad, let go, so far so good, bit blood, wiggle finger bit more blood, bent finger, skin peeled white joint popped straight through, had diminishing vision and had to sit down. Got back up after feeling rather stupid, stuck finger back together with insulating tape and finished off carpet.
8. I could write a book weekly on self inflicted injuries, worst a couple of year ago was burying a stanley knife in my leg, stitches hospital back to work.
9. My MOT certificate tells a different story unless I did it at home Up to the early 80's I could phone up and get an MOT! Nothings changed on that score just the price is higher.
10. No you're right they do lock on Probably a medical episode of some form! or got off the bus and left the handbrake off and in gear! is it not air in the tanks that keep the brakes off The flexi air coils that connect trailers are called suzies, named after the bloke that invented them. Today's useless fact.
11. I nearly had my head removed by an air actuator, was driving past a wagon with trailer and suddenly a huge bang, it took out my side window and shot a cross the dash, half of the actuator drum had made it into my van, was lucky it missed me, I can confirm the wagon did come to a stop.
12. FIFY I think in six's case fify has a completely different meaning, I think it's what he say to the bloke as he passes them on the garden path.....
13. The B&W really shows off the green, don't you think so XTreme
14. Good luck let's hope no more lockdown
15. Will people stop taking the mick out of dynax bikes, please
16. I dont think there are any quarantine restrictions going to or coming back from France by rail or ferry, not sure where you would stand on the warning against travel still in place by UK gov though.
17. It's nae wonder people think Newcastle is in Scotland
18. Thanks for that. The story about people being scared of them does ring true as once mucked about with they can be jaw droppingly fast quite easily. I am aiming to up mine to 300bhp at thewheel this time and hopefully I can get the 200 out of the way then look for something else daft to take on lol. Cheers Ian My neck hurt before I even made it onto the dual carriageway first trip out, the slip road was a blur.
19. Ian Frog I have mate with 2, one is being built, one he bought as unfinished, the rideable one the suspension had been fooked about with and the steering damper removed, the state it was in he thinks the lad who had it got it working took it out, rode it once and crapped himself, put it in back in the garage and never rode it again. Will have an ask or take a picy next time.
20. Spain apparently has gone with 2 week quarantine, not sure if this is region specific. We are doing it too but not for rail, ferry or France, which I think is a joke.
21. Having been on a busa a couple of times now I found it to be very comfortable and relatively forgiving as long as your careful with the throttle, as I've only been on a supercharged one I found throttle and tight turns interesting and somewhat terrifying. I want a v rod, specifically a night rod, which sounds like something six would keep in his draws
22. Might make it a bit green Listening to the radio this morning and the guy with the answers says motorbike use is fine to go see one other person but the main easing of restriction is for exercise so morality wise you have to be doing it for exercise. So remember to stop somewhere and walk around the bike He also advised against falling off the bike.
23. I would start with all connections for ignition and starter especially a bad earth
24. Don't you mean whales? I'm sure Wales is a country and not a large mamal.
