    Noisy Front Sprocket

Err, and mine. But you know if you throw it out. You will need it.
  4. Good work. I've seen quite a few Chinese wiring diagrams that differ from what is fitted to the bike. Quite often the diagram isn't so bad. But the colours can vary a lot. As well as the translation.
  5. Shame he didn't shoot him. Just a light graze to slow him down like.

That looks more than 0.2 mm of play. But I definitely wouldn't run it like that. Could you not put a washer behind the head of the bolt?
  7. Is that the full system? Or do you use the original end can? If it's not EU marked. It might fail an MOT if the tester is not happy.

    Welcome to the forum Simon.
  9. I've never heard of goskippy. Will have to keep that in mind.
  10. And the problem with buying all new kit at the same time. You will be replacing it again about the same time.
  11. Welcome to the forum. A great bike you have to start your biking journey.
  12. Good review. For the difference in price. It's a no brainer to buy the sp, over the standard model. It's got some good upgrades. I think most manufacturers know the exhaust will be changed now. It's just something to get through emissions testing.
  13. Seat height isn't everything. You also have to consider the snap of the seat, and how narrow the bike is. Yamaha has sold a ton of these. So it shouldn't be hard to find one in a dealers to sit on. The suspension is a bit budget on the earlier models. So might need a refresh by now.
  14. You just can't win mate. I hope you feel better soon.
  15. Piled high with papers. I bet it's a wheelie machine.
  16. They have to provide their own insurance. I was talking to a kid who does it while having a tyre changed. I was quite surprised how cheap the business insurance was. Not much more than social and commuting.
  17. Your bikes look immaculate condition. I can see you would have no trouble moving them on. The 56,000 miles is nothing for a blackbird.
  18. some lovely views from there. @Bender
  19. I wonder if it's like those press bikes from the 90's then? The press bikes always used to have a little extra power for some reason.
  20. That's great you have it at last. I did notice your bike is being tested in MCN this week. I've not read it yet.
  21. My son has just got an text from his insurance company. Its saying that the other party has admitted liability and they will now look at the damage to his bike. It's been three and a half weeks so far.
  22. It's mainly cars and young kids on bikes with cheap eBay exhausts here. Which being a city is constant. There definitely are not as many noisy motorcycles as years ago. But I see a guy warming up his R1 for at least five minutes some mornings. Straight through pipes at 6:30. I bet his neighbours love that.
  23. I've had a slow leak from the front tyre for a while now. It will lose 5-6 psi in a week. I could never see anything piercing the tyre. So today I removed the wheel and found it leaking from the rim. Broke the bead, cleaned and inflated again. There did seem to be a small amount of corrosion inside the rim. It doesn't seem to be leaking now. Fingers crossed.
  24. A lot of dealers are booked solid this time of year. But if you are selling vehicles that need preparation, you should allow for that.
  25. That's a real shame. You will just have to try again. It will be worth it.
