  1. If the price is right and its what you want buy with your heart just get some insurance quotes first
  2. Good luck setting your group up Karl it's good to brush up on riding skills whatever your ability. Nice to see your thin blue line skills are going to good use
  3. Does homicide fit in to recreational use?
  4. We all love pictures put some up of the countryside and your horwin. Good luck with the parts search!
  5. I'm sorry for your loss, your Dad sounds like a great man who will be sadly missed. You have lots of great memories to remember him by they never do truly leave you, he will always be there.
  6. My himalayan had a few issues but the issues lay with the dealer not sorting them. If you have a good dealer it should be fine Cooperb in Northants are amazing qb motorcycles in West Mids are shite!
  7. Been the the hospital gym today for my 2nd of 3 inductions to post cardiac recivery. Until a year ago I used to take my fitness seriously. I felt like I'd never exercised 12 minutes total today of cardio stuff I ache all over. Onwards and upwards though hopefully another month or so and I'll be in a better physical place.
  8. If you like the enfield and want something taller then the himalayan maybe better the Meteor is a lot lower. A 450 liquid cooled one is on the anvil that will be more powerful and better on the fuel than the 400. Maybe consider the 300 versys or 250 vstrom all of the above will cope with that commute no issues. I did 2 up West Mids to Brighton on the himalayan a few years back
  9. Sorry to hear that same with my car earlier in the year they gave me a decent price. Now maybe a good time to look lots of stock to clear for new spring models
  10. A bike you would buy with your heart I guess, pretty well specced nice brembo stoppers, I think it looks best in the white the basic model comes in. I bought with my head with the Honda
  11. Another one for the list Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello certainly different and looks v well made will sound great too!
  12. It sure is a cash cow!
  13. Yes seems locals are supporting the camping too I'm sure it adds to the local economy shops etc. Says it all when you see he's a Hedge fund boss and runs a load of holiday lets looks like he wants to basically own and run the area.
  14. Interesting article on wild camping on Dartmoor. Seems a wealthy landowner who has holiday lets there doesn't want people camping for free! 16. That's almost Chinese service intervals I didn't realise they were that short on the gsx it would put me off too
  17. Im biased with the Africa twin love it does everything I need and more the electronic suspension is v good too. Bmw rs is a lovely looking bike and solid what about the Suzuki gsxs1000gt too? I like the Africa twin as I like the high seating position of it and the nearly 25l tank means less refuelling. I can get over 60mpg flexible engine sounds good when giving it some beans the 21" front wheel causes no issues on the tarmac still manoeuvrable enough for me. Nice to have the android auto, people moan about the controls saying too many buttons. You soon get used to them and nosy you don't need on the fly.

    Where????

Yes nice place quick ferry over to trogir itself. When we were last there the lady on the ferry had the best Croatian black country accent turns out she spends most winters in our neck of the woods as her sister lives here too small world
  19. I'm not into riding bikes whilst naked!
  20. Things change and move on I guess. I'll be honest I'd rather go somewhere I can grab a coffee or tea and something to eat preferably if it's got a bike type shop too even better!

    Where????

Lovely place. Personally I love trogir not far from Split and much nicer. Ive stopped in a little place called Okrug Gornji just a little out of trogir nice little village with 4 or 5 great restaurants. Plenty of privately owned places you can rent. Place we stopped at had a pool and the family lived on the lower floor self catering local shops were good. Sea was crystal clear nice beach to swim and couple of decent beach bars. The local wine rukatac is cheap and a German guy we chatted to in a restaurant assured us it gives no hangover as no sulphites and he was right
