  1. Motorcycling makes no sense that's why we do it. Throw in some UK weather and it makes us bonkers!
  2. What would Geoff Wilson do?
  3. These days if I tried to torque my swingarm up I think a little involuntary fart would pop out to signal its about right at the correct grunting point
  4. Yes ground anchors are great. I have a fairly secure garage and had a ground anchor set in. Keep the chain off the ground, key with security is layering it. With all small bikes ur back is always to the wall as they can just pick them up. Ground anchor and chain, v good disc lock and a handlebar lock are the ones I use. Sadly you have to make it look like hard work for any potential thief. The handlebar lock is cheap but just another layer for jonny scrotebag to get through.
  5. Ground anchors seem a good way forward. I'd be careful making a false statement some companies are all over insurance fraud. A quick Google streetview check of an address will show if there is a garage etc. If you provide false information and get found out and insurance gets cancelled you will be pretty much uninsurable or it will become unaffordable. You can get the little metal bike stores which would fit in a front garden another potential option.
  6. I dont use social media but I'd imagine a tweet or whatever to Honda UK and they will be in touch to resolve. They are meant to be bulletproof engines something must be really wrong with it

I'm happy to share my recent experiences. Lots of codeine recently has led to a backing up of my constitution. Liberal amounts of fibre, senna and lactulose has got the pipes moving. I no longer feel like I have a house brick sticking out my arse thankfully I've not broadcast this journey on social media
  8. Mobilise the local WI I'm sure they could knit some stuff around those no worries
  9. Insurance is a lottery what is cheap for one person isn't for another. Put the kettle on and fire up Google check if you ae linked to any clubs or associations which may get you a discount otherwise its just lots of searching
  10. 2 weeks after my op and I'm climbing the walls at home but happy to be home. Sport has been my saviour t20 cricket today was really keeping my mind off any pain. Bonus hospital let my wife take my stitches out of my chest drains so no need to go back to hospital. Nice tidy scar where my 3 Into 1 akrapovic came out of my chest. Onwards and upwards and keep the sport rolling to keep me sane
  11. Fingers crossed its repairable
  12. Is it a Clarke or machine mart one I know they have form for cracking?
  13. Does feel odd when the winter gear goes back on. It's great that 1st summer ride when you can wear thinner gloves and a mesh jacket. It won't be long again well that's what I keep telling myself
  14. Need a lovely floor lamp and an ercol chair up the corner. Nice night in with the bike a and a few drinks what better a setting
  15. Wagon wheels have a chocolate flavour coating wtf it's not even chocolate gets me so angry
  16. This is how it looks
  17. I laid this stuff on my garage floor about 2 years ago. Still looks like new it wasn't the cheapest option but easy to lay and v durable made from recycled electrical wires. I didn't bother with edging kits just measured and bought enough tiles and cut to size. Cuts dead easy with a woodworking saw. As they look as good as the day I laid them and they need no prep or care I'd strongly recommend these.. https://garagefloorsdirect.co.uk/diamond-checker-durbar-floor/
  18. If ur not sure I'd get it fitted Tony especially on a new set of wheels. I'd imagine labour wise it won't be too big a job. If you bought from a Honda dealer I'm sure they would be able to assist

  20. Very wise great attitude. Learn the basics of chain maintaining, tyre pressures, fluids and brake pad replacement. Keep it clean and well loved and everything should all slot into place

  23. A global shortage of flux capacitors is also causing long term issues in the tech field too which may start to cause issues in market confidence. This has had a massive knock on effect with the price of heinz soup in the UK too. But the tomato with a hint of chilli is back which has gone some way to calm the situation.
