  1. If you watch vlogger teapot one his beard just blows in the wind too. As long as the lid fits andbits comfy enjoy! Hopefully a bargain too
  2. Watched an Allen Millyard rebuild he went for rhe Chinese option and didn't need to make any adjustments, he seems to know his onions. I don't think either way would cause any issues
  3. I try local dishes whenever I'm out unless it's something I know I really don't like. In laws live in South shields so parmos quitlte popular. Our local dishes would be faggots and peas or grey peas and bacon simple but tasty food!
  4. Today's tune stuck in my head
  5. Yep not straight forward I could see it happening too bikes don't bounce too well !
  6. What's peoples views on this video. About 5 minutes in she slides off the bike. My view is the other car should have stopped but I don't think she saw the car early enough I'd have just eased off the gas and waited . It's proper icy on the right hand side of the road where she pulled over to but that's hindsight. I don't think the bike and tyres were right for those conditions https://youtu.be/kTBbGhCtAC8
  7. If you haven't got a paint sprayer I find these good for applying acf as it gives a good fine mist the standard spray bottles it comes with are bit great. These are like a spray can without the gases. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331892381446?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=y_rAqIWsTU2&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=ZPITfT4aSPa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  8. Convinced the wife to have a nice drive out to the cotswolds Sunday it may involved a trip to the crazy horse farm house to see a few different bikes I omitted to tell her that bit
  9. Hope they start to kick in and you feel better soon mate
  10. I had similar to @Joe85 recently, an email from Spotify my account had been accessed in South America and the far East over a period of an hour or so. They were prompt to email me to change my password which I couldn't easily remember !
  11. I'll need to do a lot of running just prepared haggis neeps and tatties with whisky sauce. Apologies to any Scottish folk if it's not right but tastes amazing one of my fave dishes. May as well as its Burns night "Sláinte Mhath!"
  12. Can't beat decathlon. I have funny arches so for any running I'll need something a bit supportive or leg calipers so never cheap
  13. I got mine from this company they do free returns they sell end of line stock from a bigger feeder company. Annoying when they don't fit ! https://runningshoes.co.uk/
  14. I'm no expert but when I picked up the Africa twin the salesman advised to use a trickle charger when not riding for a while and often in the winter. I'm sure your GS is no different to my bike packed with tech which puts strain on the battery, electronic suspension, ancillaries and my datatool tracker won't help matters. Wait till you hook up the optimiser hopefully it will cure the issue
  15. No by all means say what you like but speaking from experience I think ur generalisations are wrong stereotyping a group isn't always wise. I've lost 2 close friends who were serving police officers in the last year through suicide (work related) so when someone labels them due to their profession and not as individuals you will understand yes its hits a nerve and I apologise if my response causes you any issues @Trooper74. It's sometimes good to try and champion all the good people do, you can look at the media for doom and gloom and maybe if somethings not right do your bit to put it right or highlight it. As I often say 'it's nice to be nice' or even positive, it tends to rub off on others.
  16. A new purchase today sadly not bike related but a steal at less then £60 for a pair of decent running trainers.
  17. I've got to say it I don't get your post you say you like the armed US style of Policing but accuse the UK Police of being woke. In another comment you state Police were swaggering around with guns making children cry? I'm guessing the sight of those US officers armed up would really make a child cry, just an observation
  18. Walking home today noticed the roads wee really damp and greasy looking. Just need this damp weather to go for a bit to dry the roads out. I was thinking of seeing how I go on the bike next week 1st time post op. As I've still not got all upper body strength back I'll leave it a little longer till I'm stronger and weather better. Well done for keeping it upright
  19. If that's your opinion I guess nobody will change it. All I'm saying is rhere are good ones out there, you probably don't see them as thet are busy doing their job somewhere. As for those swaggering around with a firearm it's a small percentage of the police. If they made your 5 yer old cry maybe engage with them they do talk or complain. Police use bodycam and the public use phones to record things it'd hard to hide misconduct. Consider judging everyone as an individual on their own merits rather than generalising. There's lots of groups you can participate in if you are unhappy with the police who monitor performance etc.
  20. Or like Keith Palmer lose his life protecting others! Don't confuse Police Forces with the individuals. Yes there are some rotten apples but also a lot of hard working individuals who do the best they can to do a good job.
  21. I think that is just what you do when you were younger I was the same. Soaking in the views etc is my source of enjoyment now rather than speeding around and points get expensive. That's why My favourite routes are like the elan Valley and Derbyshire peaks etc not particularly fast roads but with great views and nice twisties
  22. I have the attitude that the slower you go the more you see (within reason). Some nice twisty roads don't need masses of speed to enjoy them. With enough notice I'll be looking to come along and I'll be in no rush to get anywhere!
  23. I wish you all the best I'm not sure what employment is like in this industry whether there is a shortage or not. Maybe consider being a self employed mobile mechanic?
  24. For 1 up touring the tracer 900gt I'd perfect was not so for 2 up, great engine and quite economical. If I had bottomless pockets maybe a multistrada pikes peak but I'm sure I'd lose my licence.
  25. Yep then at some point it will just fit!
