  1. What about a yurt?
  2. Here's a good place to go and visit if you're in London plenty of bikers go here and are normally a great bunch happy to chat. Some great bikes in the garage got chatting to a guy with a laverda jota last time I went I learnt the bikes and the riders while history! https://bikeshedmoto.co.uk/
  3. I think most come with standard options still. Think that's why the vstroms are still so popular less tech and tried and tested etc
  4. I believe BMW units are easier and cheaper to refurb now as other companies can do it. Use my bike for everything so the ability to change suspension at the touch of a screen saves a load of time and hassle. Changing from touring to gravel mode in the move is handy too on little country lanes
  5. Have a few test rides planned?
  6. If it ticks the boxes go for it I'm sure some aftermarket luggage is available which will be a bit bigger than oem. The plastic panniers on the Africa twin are huge as is the top box. It's a great engine on the Honda and the tech is good I know some whinge but it's easy to get used to. Smaller front wheel on the NT should make it a dream on the twisties just a shame they have no electronic suspension option as i have it on the AT and its well worth it.
  7. That's the sort of shit I would do in the grand scheme of things could be a lot worse but annoying all the same
  8. With enough notice I'd certainly be interested ill happily camp I have all my gear packed in a dry bag just need a change in the seasons!
  9. Is it just the NT you are looking at?
  10. BBC News - Pele: Brazil football legend dies aged 82 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42751517 A real footballer and a gent rest in peace Pele!
  11. I had a denali soundbomb mini arrive the other day. Fitted it this morning the bolt to release the old fixing was a right twat to come off other than that an easy fit and you don't even have to worry about the polarity of the wires. A good purchase I think for around £25 lower tone not necessarily much louder way more noticeable.
  12. I put a pair of these over the helmet and they seem to help
  13. I've let you down not only did I have red cabbage I enjoyed it too lol!
  14. It's a very subjective question depends on you the bike and the fit so no hard and fast rule. For me it's the Scorpion exo 1400 carbon Air, super light comes with a pinlock insert as I think they all should a clear and smoked visor and the cheeks can be pumped up for a good fit with a little air pump in the chin. Premium feel inside and well priced. https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/382189
  15. Gave it a good coating of ACF with the paint sprayer followed with a spray of techcote acs on the bits that needed more detail. I'll put some ACF grease on some of the fasteners later in the week. Had a go with the techcote as it gets v good reviews via a Bennetts long term test.
  16. What about Yorkshire puddings filled with kebab meat?
  17. I hope you recover soon mate rest up
  18. Good luck with the resto sounds like it will keep you busy. Where in the Midlands are you?
  19. Summoned up some energy to wheel the bike outside and give it a clean down. Not been using it but I've dried it all down and I'll wait for another dry day to run the acf over it through the paint sprayer and go over any bits missed by hand. Hopefully I'll be back on it by March at the latest I'm sure the roads will still be salty by then, it has driven me stir crazy bit to be able to ride it. I've not even cranked the engine over left it on the trickle charger and put fuel stabiliser in it. I know some say firing it up for a few minutes just encourages moisture in the bike as it doesn't get hot enough to burn it all off. Onwards and upwards for the new year I say!
  20. It does look nice I can see why you want it. I would look at its value and set yourself a limit on your bids its easy to get carried away! It has a decent proven engine the 650 good luck with your bidding
  21. I look forward to seeing the new one last year's was a great addition to my garage!
  22. A work of art!
  23. Remember the free toys in the cereal packets too or collect the tokens and send off for your toy and wait for what seemed to be forever for it to arrive. Childhood dreams!
  24. Doing as little as possible today I've had this bloody awful chest infection for the last 2 weeks. Poached eggs on toast and ill reassess the rest of the day later!
