  1. I'm with you there this forum youtube and WhatsApp are the closest I get to social media. I found Facebook used to wind me up and generally not good for me. Wife loves it I leave her to it.
  2. I like using snow foam as with a decent foam bottle it gets into the awkward bits then blast it off then give a bucket wash with normal suds
  3. Surely this isn't fake news
  4. If it's a concrete floor with no membrane under it sometimes you can get damp. My brother still has his lockup and bought some rubber matting it seems to have sorted that issue
  5. I think you are all over thinking this. One pair of pants, 1 pair of socks a tooth brush and a can of deodorant. Put all the stuff in the socks and bungee them to the bike, simples
  6. Some lock ups can get damp depends on what is under the concrete floor. I just used to put a couple of cheap moisture traps in mine and sorted the issue
  7. Nows he time to sell an I'm sure you will have no issues. Always loved the look of the blackbird! What will your 600cc replacement be?
  8. It's like them electric cars my extension lead is only 30 metres bloody pointless!
  9. Me and a mate once used 2 paper cups and a piece of string it didn't go well!
  10. I agree with the superbike factory but they have loads of bikes to look at and sit on then find them at a decent dealer it's hard to find a dealer that has a good selection of lots of used bikes. There's one not too far from us in Malvern motorbikes4all good to go and sit on a load etc.
  11. Great looking 125 I like the fact you get 2 clocks rather than the standard 1 on most 125s
  12. Okare you new to bikes and would be on a cbt with L plates. If so just look at the style of bike you like and a budget. Maybe discount adventure/enduro if you are shortish but if it'd a short journey it shouldn't exclude any particular style as you don't have to worry about getting a numb bum etc after hours.
  13. Over dramatic reaction I think but ultimately the driver was going too fast for the hazard and travelling too close. Ultimately you don't kniw how nervous or experienced the rider was and probably didn't help with her friend screaming.
  14. Maybe take a look somewhere like here for starters they have loads of different t used bikes you can go and sit on and look at to get a good idea of what works for you https://superbikefactory.co.uk/all-motorbikes/ Unless you have a bit of knowledge of maintaining biked already or have the budget for a garage to check it over and potentially repair I'd avoid a privste seller for your first 125 until you are confident you know what potential issues you need to look for
  15. Good or you I bet you feel better physically and mentally. I've got protracted heart issues with no sign of seeing a cardiologist since diagnosis in September. I used to exercise 4 times a week and can't do anything until I see a specialist so I know how it feels
  16. Fitted my brake pads on the rear and went for a quick ride to test all okay. By the time I got back after just 5 miles the bike was covered in white salty crud do a good wash down. Top of the road from me 3 country meet its a lottery but looks like Staffordshire went the most crazy with salt
  17. That's it good but it's important to get back on and build up some confidence. We all like bike pics on here take a snap when ur out!
  18. More Importantly how's your tempest?
  19. Not exactly justice of any form for these pension members! BBC: Norton Motorcycles: Stuart Garner sentenced over missing pensions. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-60417156
  20. Utility companies are a nightmare to deal with. My DD was increased mid summer by my supplier in all fairness it did make sense I was in credit by next month I'll most likely be only slightly in credit with winter usage. In your case clearly they didn't take into account your impending payment
  21. New rear pads to be fitted today!
  22. That's good it's what was needed it was the only shortfall in the device
  23. Why not give it a go, have you got a full licence? Maybe start with something small and see how it goes
  24. Maybe an sv650 the x model also looks great, has a nice v twin engine. I know last month they were doing 2.9% Apr deals and £500 test ride incentives that was only on new models there are some nice 2nd hand ones out there but 2nd hand prices can be a little high presently
