  1. Who would be a football fan eh!
  2. Yes what a roller coaster match we could have done with those 3 points but I'm guessing Leeds needed those 3 too

  6. Maybe ur on Interpols most wanted list?
  7. Covid free at last so a little bumble out to Malvern stopped off at British Camp for a coffee and piece of bread pudding and another slow ride back. Still a lot of mist around late morning. Pics looked better from lower down
  8. If you have a look in roadcraft it's a big part of police driving/riding its all about progress between hazards etc
  9. Could be on a driving school practicing following and overtaking positions like in roadcraft possibly?

    P&O

If people haven't got e ough to contend with. Cost of living in the South East must be high, inflation, unemployment terrible

    P&O

I used Irish ferries last year. I think most their staff were some form of temps the ship on the way back was falling apart and all the signs in Greek it was some old boat they had leased. I'd imagine p&o are going that way too. Some issue with unions and pay dispute? Cadbury went a similar way when mondelez took over, shut down the Bristol plant and most the workers at Bournville are agency now
  12. If your not confident for £150 you maybe able to get the bike repaired
  13. If ur not well ur not well. I used to soldier on at work and never booked sick. My organisation never thought any better of you, if anything put on me even more. I've learnt now if ur not well stop off work and get well. I've got 150 hours annual to use up so I've booked the rest of March off just to get well. Enjoy some rest Neil and take it easy
  14. If the sun has bleached it I don't think anything other than spraying with something will restore the colour even the bumper stuff for cars wears off and anything painted on would flake off eventually. I use a product called rhino shine it's silicone based great on anything for cars or bikes and tends to limit the look of anything worn. I use it on the bike in the summer months
  15. You can do but I have some lighter weight clothing for summer. In general when you are moving it's not too bad. Lets face it in the UK we only have to worry about heat for around 2 weeks a year
  16. That's a good suggestion v understressed engine just pick a good dealer with RE I had a shocking one when I had my himmy, Cooperb are v reputable dealers for anything enfield
  17. Maybe a call to a triumph dealer they may be able to advise if nothing on Google helps. Good luck with your new ride
  18. I'm with u there I tend to bottle things up. A lot going on atm which got too much last month. Took a step back and topping up on support via work and NHS. It's just being able to take time out from your problems and many problems can sometimes get overwhelming. Hope this gs are well with u presently Neil
  19. That's good news as they still have a production line it was a shame when the bulk of production moved away.
  20. Looks a well maintained bike hope you sort the issue
  21. As said then it'd a case of maybe doing a bit at a time with wd40 and seeing if that gives solution
  22. There's so a lot of knock off leads on ebay etc always best to buy those sorts of things from a well known supplier
  23. Yep I agree there and service intervals on Chinese bikes can be crazy but they seem to be catching up in terms of quality time will tell I guess. Triumph moved production abroad I'd be Intrigued to see if their profit margins have changed or stayed the same.
  24. The problem is large corporations and most governments have sold into producing and manufacturing in China to reduce costs and rarely pass on that saving to the consumer. If you look at most bikes a large percentage will have Chinese origin items or raw materials on them. It's hard for cash strapped consumers to take the first step and stop buying whe. Those further up the chain have created the mess and still invest in China. The government was hell bent on Chinese 5G investment even after advice not to go down that route. I'm sure a lot of behind the scenes arm twisting was done before that change of heart. Most government computer hardware was until recently of Chinese origin.
  25. Fred a cabinet maker I'm sure he will be he's a friend of an old work colleague who I've not seen since covid etc. Leeds always seems to have some great gigs a bit like Wolvo. Good to see people getting the chance of a bit of normality. Let me know if ur ever this neck of the woods river rooms and the town hall in Stourbridge get the odd decent act.
