  6. Well today I rolled the bike out the garage and applied some corrosion blocker grease to the odd bit the ACF hadn't got ie bolts and fittings by the brakes and wheels. Other than the odd re application of acf over the winter all sorted. I've had my covid jab today and I'll be pretty much working from home and on restricted hours due to some health niggles. Missing out on 4 bank holidays nice to have some time off but will miss the extra cash but I can't buy my health.
  7. Great skills thanks for sharing the video!

  12. Good advice there
  13. Welcome, re quad I'd consider a few things if you are riding anywhere rather than private land with the owners permission you will need some form of Insurance, bike will need to be registered. Stick to private land, plod can seize your new bike otherwise. Re kit you will need to go somewhere where you can try it on as he's a young lad. I'm sure there must be clubs out there which would help as you need to make sure of safety ideally some sort of Marshalled course with first aid provisions. Personally 4 seems too young but maybe do some local research to keep safe if your gonna do that
  14. Everyone has headloss moments. Main thing is everyone is okay and no bent up metal which is a bonus
  15. No makes sense maintain rather than repair or replace makes sense, keeps you busy too
  16. This is mine I've had it 3 years with no issues!
  17. A stinky cocker spaniel. You can get the pet driers on amazon ebay etc put it on full pelt and it is v powerful cheaper than the proper bike driers about £30 turn the setting down and smelly mutt also dry again
  18. Damn it I must try harder to be more visibly bellendish. Cheers mate
  19. Too true, that's how I noticed my metal stuck in the back tyre last month no pressure loss but glad I noticed it. I have a motorrad kettenpflege kit to run paraffin through to clean the chain its quite effective.
  20. OK I stand corrected North American, sorry for any offence taken by anyone. DuRavary many thanks for correcting me
  21. Cruddy salty bike cleaned and chain lubed. ACF helped the crud come off easy enough thankfully. The pet drier is a handy tool to dry the bike quickly too!
  22. It's all getting a bit heated on this forum lately. Just remember it's nice to be nice, maybe let's not be too Insulting to each other wr and maybe have a little tolerance of each others views. Hands up I can be a bellend at times and I don't think any expert in bellendedness could ever confirm I'm not one so if anyone want to call me a bellend I'll accept that as I display all the symptoms of one in short bellend positive for the foreseeable future
