  1. It's good to get someones opinion,. I have a scorpion like yours the pinlock included all the premium brands should do that.
  2. Finished some mind numbing home working involving online training So gave the bike a good clean ill get the mist sprayer out and acf it tomorrow as back to work with restrictions easing now
  3. And another thing.......... reserving your seat at the biker cafe with beach towels bloody unforgivable
  4. Come on its not helped by you conforming to the German stereotype. If you didn't ride in budgie smuggling speedos and wear sandles with socks more people would wave
  5. Yes I find people are less friendly these days. Forget the summer riders on their supeerbikes with all the gear they tend not to respond to a wave. I also find the following GS, multistrada, Harley and classic bike riders either refuse to acknowledge or the complete opposite I still wave but a lot less responses than years ago. A sign of modern times I guess.
  6. Download the fix my street app its a good way of reporting to the council you can attach pictures etc and there's an audit trail
  7. I used to enjoy going to the pub at smithfields at 6am after a night shift. A full English and numerous pints of beer then going home half cut on the tube when everyone else was off to work
  8. Hope you start to feel better today
  9. Yes I don't get that either just file in a little. Bit like when someone is up my arse on the motorbike I just wave them past and tuck in a bit. Reduces any driving stress etc. Plus i can normally smugly filter past them at the next bit of slow moving traffic. Joking aside I do what I can to make driving less stressful
  10. I agree with that and the fact nearsides of a lot of country roads have really poor surfaces. I thinks its just about mutual conderation bit like slow farm traffic where they pull over every now and again to let others pass. Two cyclists did it for me the other day as I'd followed and not tried to overtake where not really safe.
  11. Looks v detailed to me
  12. I rated the gibidi one on my tracer I have a spare sat in a box I really need to fit it to the AT they are a bargain and really well made
  13. You need to get a job as a micro surgeon that's some detail
  14. I must say I like the look of the suzuki gsxs1000gt suzuki seem to have upper their game with that one lovely looking sports tourer and goes like the clappers too if put that on your list for a test ride. On the test ride thing my local Honda dealer was quite good re test rides on used bikes they had a gs1250 which I was able to rest ride too. See lots of dealers and test as many as you can
  15. It's never ending. I'm working restricted at work awaiting a potential solution to a heart issue, I've actually beet busier a lot I need to get done as it looks like I'll need a big op so won't be doing a great deal for a while after. I'm banking on a nice warm summer this year to get some enjoyment but we will see!
  16. You have been dead busy they all look great. What's next?
  17. It doesn't matter what job you are doing one job always leads to another its infuriating but you will be pleased with the results once done. I'm decorating a home office thats turned out into a much bigger job, pain in the backside but has to be done
  18. Speaking to different people in the bike trade they all seemed to think going down the hybrid route for bikes would be the future. All electric would be no good on a long range tourer either not enough range or too much bulk. But I'm not sure how a hybrid would fit in now as the government have set the targets to ban combustion engines I believe in bikes too. So is it worth manufacturers going down this route as it would only be a short term product?
  19. I'm sure my uncle used to do that on his Vauxhall chevette
  20. I loved my tracer 900gt great engine and super comfy on long rides. I only chopped it in cos of a lot of summer 2 up touring its weight capacity wasn't great and the rear suspension was so so, I rode it all weather's and it was brilliant. I've ow got the Africa twin adventure sports as I wanted one bike to do the lot commute, and 1 up and 2 up touring. It is different but does the lot with no short comings and makes me smile. Based on that I'd keep the old steed for 2 up touring and buy an mt09 for fun. I don't think it will fulfill your 2 up needs the mt09/tracer is good value for money for what you get
  21. I might buy my bike a nice fleecy coat like the dog has when he goes for a walk. Like the dog ill make sure it's exhaust area is clear, may solve the issue. Could be one for dragons den
  22. I'd maybe take it off along with the other side and compare all the angles and gently straighten maybe with the use of a mallet and wood heat up where needed
  23. The Constellation that was a machine. I believe the breitling one still flies
  24. I've found gear oil the only real winner I the winter and pretty much anything is fine in the summer
  25. I found marginal differences between e5 and e10 but this is now greater in the winter. As said winter riding makes a difference
