  1. Rode the bike home in the rain at 8am after a Nightshift just preparing to ride it back into work to do it all again I really can't be arsed!
  2. Maybe diffuse it all over a custard cream?
  3. Yorkshire tea for me or a nice assam
  4. Not the finger too bloody flimsy it will end up in your tea you know it!
  5. Chris I recently bought some chain lube from profi products in Germany I didn't get stung for taxes neither when I ordered from Louis Moto in Germany. May be worth a quick email to the company or a look at the FAQs on their website
  6. I think there are a few cbf600 owners on here I'm sure one will be along to give you some advice shortly. Welcome and sorry I can't help any more!
  7. Two great locations. I doubt I'll get chance next year to do Czech by bike but hopefully 2023 a tour over to see friends in Prague and olamutz. Ireland is on the possibles list for next year maybe ring of Kerry and Skellig.
  8. Took my ATAS for a ride out to the Shropshire Worcestershire borders today by the River Severn. Bikes are a very personal thing I've come from a tracer 900 to this very different engine but this bike does a lot of stuff very well bit of a Swiss army knife. I found it easy to ride the only thing is just having to remember it has a 21" front wheel so need to set the bike up a little more precisely on the bends. 3k miles in and all seems well. Looking forward to some decent jaunts in 2022
  9. A change is always a bit of a shock, I'm sure something can be done with the gear change to make it work for you. A good review and if nothing else a chance for a ride out!
  10. We need the same pose on your current bike compare with the 80s pic
  11. I hope all pans out Well workwise !
  12. The new Yedzi and Jawa 350 bikes look good Mahindra owned and they are setting up the BSA factory Coventry way I don't think it will be long before they announce what they are producing some electric and some combustion I believe. Would he nice to see the Jawa and Yedzi in the UK
  13. Looks great and I have seen the meteor in the flesh at a launch at ceffiene and machine. The quality seemed in a oar with the 650s which I believe is good. I had issues with my Himalayan but the 650s don't seem to suffer with that. Main thing is picking a good dealer for support and that engine will be fine I'm sure no speed machine but bags of character. Cooperb ate a good source of information and great dealers for RE worth a ride out for a test ride with them if you are anywhere near
  14. Take a look at delkevic UK made and they do downpipes and full systems. I know a colleague had a full system put in his old transalp and he was impressed with it prices seem quite good too.
  15. I hope your finger isn't too painful I'm guessing there's not a lot you can do for it other than pain relief. I'm doing as little as possible this weekend had this chest infection virus thing for over 3 weeks now 2nd course of antibiotics and nightshifts
  16. That's good news saves the faf of having to worry about fuel lines going hard etc.
  17. I wouldn't have thought it is due to the bike being a 2008 maybe worth a phone call to a local Yamaha dealer.
  18. Yes would be helpful I forgot to paste it in. This one has been reliable https://www.amazon.co.uk/Oasser-Inflator-Electric-Compressor-Portable/dp/B071XTHWQF/ref=dp_prsubs_1?pd_rd_i=B071XTHWQF&psc=1
  19. Too bulky try one of these rechargable too I use it a lot and takes up v little room in a pannier
  20. Enjoy bonio more pics to follow I hope! Today I have plugged my Africa Twin I to the trickle charger. I'm off to South Shields to visit family then a few days in Whitby all on 4 wheels as with the lovely wife and my brother. I'm looking forward to some great 2 wheeled trips next year when the wife gets the all clear from cancer with any luck. Roll on 2022 I have high hopes.
  21. I'm a Lion 'roar'
  22. Fastest lawnmower in town, least you can burn off all the other lawnmowers!
  23. Still a great bike for the money. If I only did solo touring I think it would still be a top contender
  24. I'm seeing no difference in fuel consumption with the E10 either I know there were tales of it making a slight difference I can't see it I can still get 330 to 350 miles at a push out of the Africa twins tank which is just great and over 60mpg
  25. I guess it depends on your circumstances and the deal. I got £500 off with the pcp deal with Honda on my AT 3 services a free tracker with 12months subscription. With the Honda pcp you can over pay on the monthly payments which I'm doing slightly. I'm thi ling with your circumstances the 0% card is the way forward. Just make sure you can clear it in the interest free period as the 0% deals are getting fewer now and with all the financial uncertainty it's strange times. You have picked a great bike there!
