Compressor shaft seal often leaks when it gets old, it's because it's buggered not because it hasn't been used for a while. That's a myth that even people in the trade peddle -
If the AC hasn't run for a while there might be air in the system, or worse, water. Also you might overcharge it, or it might just all leak out immediately. So you'll be lucky if you just fire some gas in and it works. The right way to do it is 1. Pressure test with nitrogen @400psi 2. If it holds pressure vac the system. 3. Weigh the correct amount of refrigerant in. Don't put extra in, it'll knacker the compressor.

I bought a beeline for occasional use here and in Spain. Works OK. I like the small size and no wiring involved. Also it uses Google Maps navigation so is up to date. If I needed it every day I'd probably get a waterproof holder for the phone though in fact I've got one somewhere.

I think my oven is 900w so that's only 3.75 amps. Same as someone said above its the rings that take all the power on a cooker

Thought I was getting one, 3 weeks ago I saw a camera van, looked down at the speedo... 38mph lifted off and slowed down. I know the clock reads about 4mph high so probably got off with that one by the skin of my teeth -
Don't pay, let it go to court and explain to the judge. They will surely have to prove your guilt, which they will have difficulty

There's no effect on handling, probably would be on a track where every 10th of a second counts. Not noticed any difference myself

I always wash my head before putting the helmet on.. Haven't got much hair left and I cut it down to grade zero so it's more of a head wash. Only takes a minute in the sink

Get the Duke 390, they are an absolute hoot to ride, I've got one and on it all summer, sod the car even for shopping . But don't take my word for it, it's MCN's bike of the year 2017, also look up the Facebook groups dedicated to it (duke 390 US in particular)

I don't usually ride in winter but when I do I wear my hi vi's jacket because it stops the wind going through. My helmet is plain white (because it was the cheapest colour of the range I wanted ) it's amazing how many brake light come on in front when they see me approaching

Just something to bear in mind, the higher capacity batteries that are the same physical size will have thinner lead plates in them so may be less robust.
