  1. I don’t understand how such a sophisticated drink isn’t still well known
  2. It’s not too late to put it back...
  3. Nice mum. Macs are good. Only thing I’ve found thats worth mentioning is even now there are websites that don’t work well with safari so it’s worth putting another browser on there (eg chrome). Then if something doesn’t seem to be working smoothly you can just switch browser. Opening your prezzies before Christmas tut tut
  4. Grrrrr
  5. Damn I missed the early photos but I do like a friend with a French chateau
  6. Bijeezus. I haven’t had hiccups since forever and I now can’t get to sleep because I have hiccups. This is entirely and I’m certain non-coincidentally your evil fault, you hex wielder @Bender
  7. Oh are you used to work?
  8. Really? Cos you make the whole beach bum/intergalactic warrior with occasional babe thing look so difficult..
  9. You mean you kept it
  10. TLDR- get separate policies. Why is it less than one years no claims? I assume new rider but less than one year is simply zero so they’ll still insure you for anything for a premium- assuming there’s no other reason. I found adding my no claims in makes a small difference. I’ve wondered if your insurance cost what it gonna cost based on your answers and they actually are just squeezing some extra pennies out to make you insure your no claims and have a pretty good excuse for whacking up your insurance when/if you lose it. I should say thats only based on my experience of adding it in and taking it out of the quote equation. The multi policy thing is a weird area. I really wanted my bikes on one policy but oddly it was cheaper separately and even more strangely adding my other half who only passed his test a last November reduced the price?!?! Another oddity is you can’t have an additional rider on a multi bike policy, so if I paid MORE for a multi bike policy than to insure them separately I couldn’t add him but if I paid less for separate policies I could!
  11. I feel for you rennie. In a minute the pressure will build enough that you’ll have to get up and find something to do that looks like work. Or you could just have another coffee and pretend you’re on holiday at work
  12. You’re far more likely to touch another persons desk or phone or the kettle or the door or a seat than a bauble on a Christmas tree. You could quite legitimately declare the tree a safe zone on the account of it being the least likely vector! They could be liable if they remove your Christmas safety zone Also without wishing to be too boring (snore) virus’ are flimsy things and inhalation is without a doubt the main route of infection. Bacteria on surfaces yes, viruses possibly but mainly no.
  13. Urr after some brief forum interaction I say god help her when you retire
  14. Tanners.. the shoe polish?
  15. Harvey’s bristol and stones ginger wine will always have a place in my heart, they’re the only thing that made lunch at my mother in laws bearable But then I live near bristol n can see Wales out of the window so I was always gonna fall into the trashier camp
  16. Good luck. Hope it’s works out and you get Christmas with the your daughter. Families ay!
  17. No need to make any effort to find the good stuff all this is available for a mere £5! Mmm looks delicious
  18. What’s Dubonnet?
  19. Met her. You’re not far off, very fake, I found her very unpalatable, arrogant bordering on rude and IMO the sparkle is the twinkle of the unhinged. Still like some of her food ideas though, the gluttony part isn’t an act. Whats babycham? I think its something grannies drink at celebrations?
  20. I didn’t expect cheesecake to keep popping up and a Christmas pudding.
  21. Wild meats dodgy ground isn’t it. The first time I had proper wild duck, I was so looking forward to it and it was so disappointing. If it’s farmed they control the feed and the age the animal is culled, they know the optimum time timing for the best flavour and texture so long as we’re not talking intensive farming it’s better than a roamed wild. If you don’t know it’s age or life it’s easy to have an over muscled stringy old thing that’s only good for a long slow cook. Plus hunting wise if you want it for food your going to want the prime specimen, the knackered old ones aren’t appealing (a lot like this forum ) their sinewy fibres are only good for a very slow cook.
