Not so good . I've hardly eaten a thing all day because everything just tastes weird . As long as I breathe really shallow I can avoid having to cough . But once I start coughing it goes on and on until I start to feel light headed . My head hurts like hell when I cough too . I've never known anything like this . So I've actually taken a turn for the worse . It really hurts to swallow as well . Bob, I think you need to start thinking about calling it in. Unwrapped the bike from its winter Woolies. Happy to find it started first time and ran up to temperature without any hiccups. Had to top up the air in the tyres and now all set for a run south from Teesdale to Gloucestershire on Saturday. Weather permitting I'll take the scenic route via Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale then past the hell hole of Liverpool/Manchester into the Welsh borders and on to Gloucester. If it's crap I'll go via the A1M and Coventry then Stow and home.

Don't know if it's totally true but it's reported that in Madrid 19 residents of a single care home have died of this disease so no, it's not flu FFS. It's a wee bit nastier. Well I suppose that in comparison to a killer Chinese virus it qualifies as something good. As I've said elsewhere I'd sooner stick pins in my eyes than buy Chinese but that's for personal reasons.

I'll go along with MBF. I've tried contacts but not admittedly the newer disposable type and didn't get on with them. I wear glasses and a flip lid helmet and find it's good for me. With a decent pinlock and ventilation I don't find they steam up either.

Must be pretty grim if you have hay fever too. My son in law does and i wouldn't want to ever borrow his helmet.

Find the right kind of micro-brewery beers and they're not weak horse piss. Can't remember any NYC ones off the top of my head but I seem to remember Goose Island IPA is in the area.
