  1. Ooh. Obviously not a Ducatista!
  2. Hey ho. Got flights for Singapore so back to work officially from tomorrow. Now having the usual clusterfuck trying to find all the stuff I've been ignoring since I got home. I detest packing.
  3. Apparently pink is the most visually obvious colour. Why I've no idea and I for one won't be riding in pink.
  4. Bloody ants. I hate the little bast*rds. Had a well developed wisteria we'd grown in a pot for about 5 years. This summer ants made a nest under the pot and have now killed my plant. Also the lawn is full of the buggers and I've just spent the morning applying stuff which is supposed to see them off. Believe it when I see it. Really want mini (really mini) nukes.
  5. I've a white helmet and for 2 reasons - first they're usually cheaper and I'm too mean to pay £150 just for graphics and second they are cooler in hot sunny weather. My current helmet is a Shoei Neotec 2.
  6. I really don't see the point of monkey hanger bars. They (imo) look stupid and I really don't see how a bike can corner particularly well with them.
  7. Just found out I'm going to Singapore after all. I'll be flying probably on Thursday so a bit of time to get my shit together. Take my bike in to get warranty work done tomorrow and that'll be my biking over until November.
  8. Pretty much what old codger says. You can't ride abroad on L plates and use a British CBT in Ireland. The Irish equivalent is more difficult to get than ours apparently and they don't accept ours. You can ride in Northern Ireland as its part of the UK but not in Eire.
  9. Sounds utterly hideous anyway.
  10. Having survived a week with 4 grandchildren rode home via some very nice twisty B roads touching at Clee Hill, Bromyard and Ledbury before home.
  11. Well you certainly haven't got a stick up your arse, at least not at the moment. Nothing else either by your account!
  12. I can remember my grandfather having his bowler hat handed to him by my nan as he stepped out the door on his way to work.
  13. Having seen some of the yogurt flavours my grandchildren rave about I suspect random bizarre chance. Either that or the person in charge of product development is 3 years old.
  14. Not really but I see no reason why they can't be adjusted - for a price. These days I only wear single layer jeans as they're way more comfortable and easy to adjust particularly if it's just leg length.
  15. Banana flavoured Jammie Dodgers are a sign of a civilization in crisis. The end is definitely nigh!
  16. Rode it from the "holiday house" in to Worcester and back as elder grandsons were climbing at Redpoint. 4 bairns plus grandma means I have to ride bike. What a shame, although it did rain.
  17. I don't think the OP wanted to change engine size just work the system. Might be wrong though.
  18. Strange question but in this time of post truths who knows? But actually no. 350 cc is what it says, 125 also and you can't magically make one into the other.
  19. The result pretty much as expected. We played better than I expected though. My oldest grandsons (true English supporters) were humphing about the Spanish cheating as only pre-teen experts can. Might have been rude words said - safely out of their grandmother's hearing. Not sure if skill actually counts as cheating but there you go.
  20. I'm planning on fitting Road Attack 4's to my bike when the current ones are due replacement. Partly on the basis of good reports from other Guzzi owners and partly because they are one of the few tyres still made in Europe (Germany). My Pirellis are Chinese made and are OK but......

I had a Superdream but it was a year older. It was my only high speed (about 60 mph) in wet weather on the A5 near Corwen. My ambition exceeded my competency and I slid into a rock face sideways. Bike was more broken than me but was repairable.
  22. Glad to know your weather is as crap as ours. Summer? LMAO.
  23. Nope I used the assistant button on the way in and out and got my parking for free so not all bad.
  24. Rant - car parks with number plate recognition- from the front!
