I usually travel alone and I don't mind it at all. Do what I want when I want. Don't mind eating alone too although it's not my first choice.

I'm a dog lover and we have had many dogs over the years and they never worried farm animals. I had a labrador that when a pup got off the lead and chased a sheep. I lathered him brutally and after that he would not "see" sheep at all. If I was a farmer who'd lost stock to out of control dogs I would shoot any off lead dog I saw on my land and the owners could Foxtrot Oscar.

The complete ar*ehole who let their dog harass a heifer which in its panic broke its leg badly (bone sticking out) and then had to be shot by the farmer. £2000 of Friesian cow gone. We own dogs but would never let them do that shit.

Turns out I didn't have the known water leak. (Hose clamps that cut the hose. Mine were switched before delivery.) I've something more exotic - naturally - but apparently the bike is fine to ride "as is" and the dealer will take it in when I go back to sea and sort it out. Apparently needs to take the engine out so quite what it is I've no idea!

The road from Bellingham up past Kielder and then over to Newcastleton and down Liddlesdale is quite good as I remember.

I hate standing still in traffic - either I'm getting cooked in the heat or being drowned in the rain. Therefore I filter but not at speeds over 20 mph.

I use the pass if I'm not in a rush to get to either Morpeth or Barnard Castle or going the other way. The road from Alston to Hexham isn't bad either.

Can't abide gherkins. My eastie beasties eat them by the bucket load. Do quite like a pickled onion though.

Be glad to see it happen. Use the pass from time to time and the empty bomb site isn't conducive to stopping.

No this was a few years after and on the non US flag ships.Valdez was entirely American. She ended her days renamed as the Exxon Mediterranean and running into Fawley. Used to give the local Greenpeace people conniptions.

Been there and done it on the Multistrada. Put my foot down on a slope and slowly tipped over as my 30 inch inside leg couldn't reach the ground. So annoying!

Recovering from having my grandsons for the week. Bowling on Tuesday, Pizza on Wednesday, fishing at Blagon on Thursday and paint balling today. I'm knackered. Good lads though.
