  1. I crashed many times, especially on the race tracks , but none in last 10 years.
  2. That’s the good part on cruise ship, paperwork is done by someone else. Actually everyone has his small part to deal with.
  3. What's yours called? Exxon valdez 2 I'm not allowed to give it's full name but suffice to say it's owned by a large Scandinavian company that is big in ferries as well as tankers. From full speed ahead to stopped is not that bad. A shade under 3 miles under control. A crash stop which will probably break the engine or at least the chief engineer takes less than 2. For reference this one weighs in at 159,000 tonnes. My biggest which has long since been scrapped was a somewhat larger 509,000 tonnes. Google "Esso Atlantic" if you want to know more. I did 6 vlcc and I newer like it. I was mostly on product and chemical, lot of action, time passing fast. Vlcc was killer with 40 - 50 days between spm. Getting on and off by helicopter. At the end with a bit of luck end up on cruisers, so after 18 years and few divorces I am still here . Hope corona will not change it.
  4. I love them but not to ride.
  5. I prefer bmw, Just by the look nothing technical.
  6. Apple Watch, only downside is daily recharging. But from empty to full it take less than hour.
  7. Now lucky as I am going home, but how it is in cruise industry I don’t know if I will get back on board. Fingers crossed. This is the first time I would be happy to extend and stay few weeks more That's the problem isn't it? The lack of certainty for the future. I know where you are coming from with the cruise industry. I can't see it ever going back to what it was or at least not for a year or so depending on how the plague works out. Even the Hurtigurten guys in Norway have cancelled everything until next year. Even on tankers it's dodgy - the ships will probably keep going and freight rates are okay ish but when / where we can change out is ever changing and liable to turn literally on a whim. We've had guys fly out to Singapore and get sent home again for a random change in the rules. we are in Europe, all fleet, so change is simple and easy. At least for all Europeans. It remains to see how long owner will keep us on board on full payment. I don’t know how long this can last but cruise industry cannot survive more than 6 months from now.
  8. I think is normal, i red somewhere that armour needs to be replaced every so who knows don’t remember. Probably same as helmets 5 years rotation
  9. Carburettor what is that
  10. By the way that is the proper risk assessment
  11. Just 12 days to go Lucky you. I'm basically on an open ended one now as it all depends where we are when I'm due off. So many places are still off limits. Company wide we have over 300 men and women who are well overdue relief. It sucks. Now lucky as I am going home, but how it is in cruise industry I don’t know if I will get back on board. Fingers crossed. This is the first time I would be happy to extend and stay few weeks more
  12. I don’t know nothing about drones, but your video make me want one.

    Touring Tyres

I have angel gt and I am happy with it, I had pr3 on different bike before and it was good tyre. My opinion is that angel is better on dry, and I am sure that pr3 was much better on wet. Longevity, probably the same
  14. I always think to myself "is it really worth it?" That guy I linked to got 3 months in prison for using a camera blocking device. I do not want to serve time in prison, lose my job, have to redo my license after a 6/12 month ban all for the sake of going 40mph in a 30 zone I certainly aren't saying I don't speed, I just pick the right time and place I do think now, I didn’t 30 years ago
  15. When I was younger I used to ride without number plate. Actually with number plate in my back pack. And it worked all the time. Now as I am older and wiser I just stick to the rules as much as possible.
  16. Such small pressure difference you wouldn’t feel so much except if you are riding like Rossi. It will only affect time your tyre need to warm up. 0.5 bar or 6 to 7 psi not going to change so dramatically I use to drop it to 25 psi for track ride and it went more than good.
  17. I can see so far you had a glorious weather
  18. Good stuff = expensive stuff, Rukka #1 Than everything else. There is some good stuff from Dainese as well
