Other option, ride a cruiser, you can stretch your legs, straight out in front I do. I placed engine guard bars most for that reason

Don’t know how many hours those are on their bikes or scooters, but when I did long rides, day by day, talking about 7-9 hours riding day after day, knees and hips tend to go numb or even painful. So stretching while riding helps a bit. Yes can be dangerous but when you don’t feel ur bum and legs you don’t thing about the risk so much.

I use TomTom and I like it maybe it’s not the best but working good, most mistakes are my inputs and settings. Sometimes occasionally goes wrong if loses signal but it does get back quickly. All of devices will be confused in some rural areas and in countries where sun doesn’t shine often, that why I still have old fashioned road maps. But last time even road map was wrong, new roads are build this days faster than map can be updated and that does not help much. It is ok in big cities but when it comes out of it

What about carbon wheels would work with carbon or it can damage it, and as well with other types of light weight wheels? Any info about that?

Bullsh*t. Oil tankers and the clue is in the name carry oil around the world from where it's found to where it's used. How far would your motorbike go without petrol? Where do you think it comes from? In terms of shite we churn out in terms of tonnes carried per mile it's very low. Also under international law by the end of this year all ship's will have to be fitted with exhaust gas scrubbers or burn fuel with less than 0.1 percent sulphur. These scrubbers cost over a million dollars a pop so require significant investment from owners. People talk shit because they believe what tv said, I am on ships since 1990 and in cruise industry’s since 2004 ships yes pollute but not as much as they present, we clean our exhaust gas and we burn low sulphur fuel, we have electrical connection to connect to shore side while in port so we don’t use our engines, ports are not prepared for it, just few has that possibility. So it is not up to the ships only but ports as well. It is just campaign that recently started in US against big cruise companies, and reasons are completely different. Pollution is just excuse.

Most modern bikes has ecu that will auto adjust to new silencer and if you get some good aftermarket exhaust like akrapovic there is no need to do anything From the other side if you get some low cost shit or some extremely low priced akra from the amazon or eBay that is 100% Chinese copy you can damage the engine. Exhaust is very serious design and carefully studied for each engine.

Unfortunately law is on their side, if I could shoot in the knee any thief that get on my property than they will think twice before doing something. But as of now we are not allowed to protect ourselves and our properties. Maybe one day.

What tools to keep on the bike
Marino replied to dynax's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
Few cable ties, duct tape, tool set that comes with the bike, tire repair kit with mini compressor. All fit under the seat. -
That's a bit harsh on @geofferz Lol it does appear to read like that That is not however how it was intended to read, there is a lot to be said for checking what auto correct or insert is actually putting down. No offence intended @geofferz Agree auto correct and predict text is the bast*rd

Armoured jeans experience?
Marino replied to Pbassred's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
Great solution for warm days, however there is no solution for hot days except shorts. I do ride in shorts during the summer in Mediterranean but of course with max attention. It’s a risk that you have to deal with sometimes. Denim also in winter with some thermal underwear is ok if not really cold -
Love that blueish colour on exhaust, beside beautiful paint job Fantastic bike, love to watch it
