    Bloody weather

It wasn’t properly rain for some time, so all dirt, grease, dust, all together creates super slippery surface once mixed with water . It will take day or two of good rain to wash it out.
  2. That is the price to pay for technology advancement, Before we had speedometer and rev counter, few lights and it was enough. Now with digital dashboard, I admit cannot stop to check all parameters. And worst thing is I don’t really need them.
  3. It is all backed up by someone better to say by someone’s. Nothing else but politics
  4. It is almost impossible during the summer in Mediterranean to have all protection like in north Europe. Yes thermometer goes over 30 , much over 30 but that is measured in the shade, on the Sun could be 20 more easily. And that goes for over 90 days or more. 20 years ago special summer equipment did not exist, all those perforated jackets are pretty new stuff, same with the boots, trousers etc, ant there is also economic aspect where people manage to gat enough money to get only motorcycle and helmet as it is mandatory. Telling that from my own experience living there for 40 years. And there is also cultural aspect and many more things. If you will have a chance to spend 3 months there during the summer time, would like to here the comments. Again from personal experience, my wife is British and her safety standards were dropped significantly down in the summer.
  5. Once I consume that motul paste I will try with Vaseline, someone told me it works good as well, only trick is to apply micro coat. Talking about chain lubing
  6. It’s really good I use it for over the year, still on the first tube. It’s dense and need to be well spread, brush is not so bad, overall one of the best I ever used.
  7. I just clean it with paper towels and water, than Nivea, that’s all, Have leather jacket over 15 years and it is still in good condition. Before used furniture leather oils/creams, but Nivea is good as well.
  8. Who did not experienced something like that.............it will sooner or later
  9. I will be there this weekend if will stay dry
  10. Think that sportsbike shop offers helmet testing, if u are nearby one of their shops it is not bad idea to test few helmets
  11. It is different situation in Italy and countries around, not so much bike theft like in Britain. Except Naples, that is special case. I never used any lock, chain, alarm before and still when going there I don’t use it, Maybe stupid, but I lived there and had bikes for 20 years without any being stolen, no chains and alarms ever used.
  12. and it explains why the bike is the size of an oil tanker Oil tanker, so in risk of being sequestered, must be careful where is going
  13. Tilt over switch, that one is the bast*rd.
  14. Good effort from a sportsbike! My Hp4 could return 150 ish miles. The GSA has managed 400 miles on a tank providing I don't break 74 mph. 400 miles, that’s fantastic range, you forget when last time you filed it up
  15. I am pretty much annoyed by people taking photos of myself but that is probably because working on the cruise ship, guest are constantly photographing us like animals in the zoo. Since I am working there I didn’t take one voluntary photo of myself. It is one of very few thinks that annoy me. Luckily no one want to take photo of my bike (it is ugly child),
  16. Squires cafe is near by, maybe on the way to it, Anyway big bunch of tosses blocking the road, that’s why the rest of us (normal people), get judged and hated. In some way I am jealous because I would like to have riding group, must be fun, but I am terrified of group riding. Tried few times but wasn’t relaxed,
  17. It was questioned if advert regarding XYZCTEM motorbike covers was a scam or not, It is not a scam, from my personal experience, I gave them my email account, they put the money to my PayPal account and I ordered cover on the amazon, actually they will overpay you by few quids, Now regarding the cover, it is fair priced, I got 97 inch what is more than enough for superduke gt, could also keep top case it will cover it. So for every sports or naked bike more than OK, size smaller will be better. I can’t think of what bike size will need 107 inches cover. I test it and it is waterproof definitely. Sims are well taped from inside so will not leak, only possibility for a leak are reflective patches. There are three ( I don’t see the reason why they put it, it will be better in my opinion without them), on one on them I found small drop of water. But I test it bit aggressive with the water hose and kept pressure quite high. On the bottom, there are three tide down straps with backless, enough to keep it tight on the bike even during the strong wind, as well one additional long strap if you want extra tightening. Generally it looks good, easy to set up and remove, personally if you use it to cover the bike for longer period of time on the open, I will use as well undercover, one that is used in the garage. Now it will take a time to see how long it will last, my bike is garaged but sometime as I am lazy and keep it outside, covered,
  18. Insurance are the robbing bast*rds, all of them,
  19. You are lucky, it could end up much worse, I am generally scared of all this crazy animals attacking by the road. Today it was lot of road kill on my route (rabbits), my dog would be happy.
  20. Nice, look like transfers,
  21. I will always have issue with u turn it is just way it’s go, I start practice on the parking lot using lines, first turn inside the 3 parking space, than 2, once u are super confident you can try in one and half, easier without cones and other markings as they are obstacles and creates potential hazard, at least in my brain, so just parking lines. Another thing is not to look in your front wheel or just in front of it, look far forward. Looking to close to the wheel will make you slow down and eventually dropping the bike. I am still going to practice this after 20 years of riding especially when you get new bike.
